Enjoyable Stay

We particularly loved the location. Very close to several lively pubs and eateries but far enough away to be v quiet.
The apartment was spotlessly clean, the kitchen well equipped the bed comfortable..
Minor quibbles, the duvet was a bit thin and it would have been nice to have a shower mat to avoid slipping

Einfaches Appartement in zentraler Lage
Publié le 10 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayDas Appartement liegt im Erdgeschoss an einer vielbefahrenen Straße zwischen Galway und Salthill....jeweils etwa 10-15 Gehminuten / Tesco 5 Gehminuten. Dies war sehr praktisch, aber laut.
Das Appartement ist sehr dunkel....Eingangsbereich = Küche UND Schlafzimmer OHNE Fenster. Im kleinen Wohn/Esszimmer zur Straße gar es ein Fenster mit festem Außengitter, Badezimmer durchs Schlafzimmer erreichbar mit einem kleinen Milchglasfenster zum Parkplatz hinter dem Haus.
Matratzen sehr weich, kein Kleiderschrank sondern 2 offene Regale.
Küche durchschnittlich ausgestattet. Wenn etwas fehlte, wurde es gebracht...wie Teekanne, Brotbrett/-messer und einiges mehr.
WC Spülung auch nach einer Woche noch defekt. Alles andere wurde sehr schnell repariert. Umzug in die größere und hellere Wohnung im Obergeschoss/Dachgeschoss.
In der 1 & 2. Etage befinden sich Büroräume.
Der Vorgarten wurde als Außensitzbereich bei Buchung angegeben, aber in einen Mini-Vorgarten an einer vielbefahrenen Straße setzt sich keiner wirklich zur Entspannung hin.
Gute, lösungsorientierte Kommunikation mit Liz & Peter, aber insgesamt hätten wir für den Preis eine bessere Leistung erwartet. Die 2. Woche in der oberen Wohnung hat etwas entschädigt.

Great Galway Location

Charming, Cozy, Convenient

The neighborhood was quiet and safe, but within easy walking distance of major sites and plenty of pubs, restaurants, and shops. The hosts were helpful and well-organized. We enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again!

Tolle Wohnung
Publié le 2 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayDie Wohnung war absolut sauber. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern sehr gut. In der Wohnung war alles so wie in der Beschreibung aufgeführt. Es fehlte nichts. Die Lage ist zentral, aber trotzdem wohnt man ruhig. Ein Supermarkt ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. In der Innenstadt ist man zu Fuß in ca 10 Minuten. Zum Meer ca 20 Minuten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Kleiner Hinweis zum Parkplatz. Die Einfahrt ist sehr eng. Wir waren mit unserem Hyundai Kona dort.

Perfect location in Galway
Publié le 25 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayCoach House was beautiful property and walking distance to everything. Property managers were very responsive and kind. Being from the US there were a few things we had to figure out, like holding door handle up to lock the door and emptying out a water chamber in the dryer, but those were truly the only blips and that was just lack of knowledge on my part. This would be a great rental for families or couples. All bedrooms are upstairs so not handicap accessible. The huge tub in the upstairs bathroom was awesome. So glad we got to experience Galway and have this lovely property to come back to after exploring.

Great location!

Communication was great and assistance was prompt if anything was needed. Also, Tesco is just at the end of the street, making it that much easier to get the necessary goods.

Galway is always fun
Publié le 24 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayi arrived at the property on Thursday Oct 5. I could not find any information in my emails and messages with the owner regarding entering the apt. I called the phone number provided on the emails a few times with nobody answering. I also sent another private message with no response. I then used another device to check my email. I found the PDF files with the check in info. The problem now was that it was raining and difficult to see the numbers on the lock. After 30 minutes or more, i was able to get in. I really wish the check in info was in an email, and not an attatchment.
As far as the apt gors, it was great. It has everything that you need. It's clean, cozy and convenient. The bed is comfortable, the livingroom is relaxing and overall it is what you need.
Tesco supermarket is close by and Galway town is 10 minutes walk. I would stay here again on my next trip to Galway.
P.S. The washer/dryer is a bonus.
