Short vacation
Publié le 25 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayProperty is well maintained, great for kids, fur babies. Most cabins have screened in porch, that was great for All meals, visiting,etc. The road to dock is rough to drive and steep to walk back up. That could use a good grading. The view of lake was wonderful and the sun rise was breathtaking.
Beds were very comfortable.

Trying to relax
Publié le 2 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe came to to relax and have piece and quiet after a long day of travel we settle in for the night. At 8pm they decided it was a great time to start mowing and weed eating the place I contacted the owner and told them that is isn't the relaxing place it would be and that we would be checking out in the morning and not staying our 2nd night she was more worried about having pictures taken of the place than the comfort of her guest the mowing went on into the dark. And the 2bed cabin only had a small AC window unit in it and a small fan it in no way kept the cabin cool enough to be able to sleep comfortably so if you decide to rent here make sure to bring extra fans or and AC with you specially if its the summer time or be prepared to sweat while trying to relax. This place is nice but need way to many updates to be more relaxing what waste of time and money thank you for ruining our get away .Oh Branson was way better.

I do apologize that your short evening was not relaxing. I did touch base with you guys while you were here and you did not mention the cabin not being cool enough or I could have accommodated for this! Additionally, had you have mentioned the mowing was a nuisance, my husband would have stopped. I did not receive your message through the app that you were departing early for these reasons until after he was done with his 1.5 hours of mowing! We live on site and could have been located through our office but you did not give us the opportunity to make it right before telling us you were unhappy and leaving early. Furthermore, you reserved the cabin on a Monday and arrived on a Wednesday, knowing the temperatures were going to be unusually hot and knowing the cabin had a wall A/C unit (unless you didn't do your research well enough). That said, on a 100 degree day, mowing must happen either early in the morning or later in the evening - we just had a 45 year old neighbor DIE of heat stroke mowing during a 100 degree day. You were quite pleasant when we interacted so I was quite thrown when you messaged to declare your departure without giving us the opportunity to fix any minor inconveniences. . My best guess would be you planned a trip last minute without thorough research and projecting your shortcomings in doing so. We understand we will not please everyone but we certainly strive to and would have done so had we have known there were any issues in the first place! I’m glad you enjoyed Branson

Publié le 26 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe came from Texas to vacation here, and it was NOTHING short of Fantastic. My kids had an absolute blast. Gorgeous views! Norfork lake was amazing also. The cabin was just right for our family of 5! Everything was furnished and owners were great! We are already talking about next years visit there.

Nice place to stay
Publié le 8 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayMy husband and I stayed with our 2 grandsons so we could visit with family near by. Jenni was very nice. The cabin was clean and we loved the screened in porch. Boys enjoyed the playground area.

Arkansas Trip

Wonderful weekend getaway
