Publié le 19 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed being able to walk to Terrace Lakes. The deck was nice and the fire pit was great! The house was fully equipped and comfortable. The host was great!!

Publié le 4 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were excited to stay here after reading the listing/reviews. Temps were well over 100° outside at check in. It was 90° inside. The AC and fans were all off. Had to empty the over flowing pitcher hooked to the AC before we could use it. Not cool until early morning.

Thank you for your review Kim. Our guests comfort is our top priority. It has definitely been a hot Summer. Though it was hot the weekend you stayed, it wasn’t the hottest weekend we experienced this year. We’ve had guests that stayed when it was 110, they followed the instructions & tips we provide and cooled everything down quickly, enjoying a comfortable stay. There are small cooler units in each bedroom, fans in the windows, additional floor fans, and simple instructions on how to use the the AC unit properly.
I reached out to you when you first checked in to ensure you saw the instructions in our welcome book on how to effectively cool down the home. I sent a second message asking you to please contact me if you needed anything. I would have been happy to walk you through it to ensure you and your family had a cool and comfortable stay. Unfortunately I never got a reply from you, so I’m assuming you didn’t read any of the mentioned instructions or helpful tips.
That said the overflow on the AC unit should have been emptied prior to your stay, I’ve contacted our cleaners to ensure that doesn’t happen again. Thank you.

Great Family Getaway
Publié le 28 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayIn town for a family wedding. Home had everything we needed. The back deck was spectacular where we could gather and do meals. Host is great and very helpful. Love this place---would stay again if I ever get back to this neck of the woods.

Little get away

We basically just lived on the back deck - it was surrounded by pine trees and so peaceful. There's neighbors around you but the trees make them seem farther away/not there. The lighted path was excellent to get to the Terrace Lakes pool and bar/restaurant. House had everything we needed and the check in and out procedure was easy. Plus five stars for having both a drip coffee maker and a keurig - because coffee is life. And coffee in the morning on that deck was perfection.

Great weekend getaway!

Beautiful place
Publié le 27 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayMy Mom, Sister myself and two granddaughters stayed 3 nights comfortably. Short distance to walk to the pool. The deck was large and beautiful. The area where the cabin is was so peaceful and a perfect place to get away. The cabin was so clean and had everything to BBQ and to eat in. What a great weekend!

Fun Birthday Getaway
Publié le 5 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe celebrated our daughters 10th birthday here and had a good time. Very close to pool and sled hill which was great! I wouldn’t say anything in this place is modern or updated, just pretty dated overall but it was cozy. For some reason, there were a ton of gnats flying around inside so that wasn’t enjoyable. The cleaner seemed to overlook a couple of details that I would recommend to always check. There was a gross brown film at the bottom of the Keurig water reservoir like it hadn’t been checked or cleaned in at least a month. I had to run it through the dishwasher and use a paper towel to scrub it off. Overall it was a fun stay, everyone enjoyed the couple days.
