Smoky Mountain View, in Cobly Nob, literally across from the Great Smoky Mountain’s National park. 10 minutes from Gatlinburg downtown and very quiet.
From Spring through Fall you can enjoy the deck views of the National Park and even see bears that pass by. This quaint homey cabin has 3 bedrooms (with flat screens) 3 Kohler equipped bathrooms. Home has 2 sofas(1 queen size sofa bed) . Foosball game table. Game boards and cards. Barstool table and large a dining room table. Washer and dryer available for use. 2.550 sq ft. living area. Plus 2 large decks. Hot tub included. This cabin feels like home. We have on camera at parking area and at outside door way for your protection.

Updated kitchen with granite countertops. Kitchen is stocked. New barbecue grill outside with propane provided. During snow season roads are salted. Handicap friendly with no steps to get in the cabin on the upper floor.

Amenities- 2 Swimming Pools, Tennis court; basketball courts, children’s Playground, 18 hole golf course, Hot Springs Bluetooth Hot tub. A few miles away from hiking trails.

Also 10 minutes away is an indoor pool at the Gatlinburg community center just before you get into Gatlinburg. They also have basketball courts a volleyball court a weightlifting area as well as a bowling alley. It’s right next to the Gatlinburg high school. Overall the cabin was great I loved the wood burning fireplace and the host provides plenty of wood the cabin is big enough for seven people to be comfortable and the pictures for the cabin speak for themselves because the view from the balcony is absolutely incredible and we saw bears everyday that we stayed there which was pretty amazing my family loved to see them but now the not so good part of the stay was when I showed up to the cabin the hot tub was not working and a repairman was working on it and had to leave it not working for the first night I stayed in the cabin and half of the second day and when I messaged the cabin host asking about it I ended up having to call because I waited for a reply to the message so long

Didn't want to leave ...
None of us wanted to leave. We had a wonderful time. The house was GORGEOUS, so much so I plan to find out where some of the owner's pieces were purchased. We made friends with 2 bear families (well not really, however we watched them a lot). It takes about 30 minutes to get to downtown Gatlinburg - traffic is always heavy on city outskirts. Our preference was to be further out of town and be peaceful with the forest and bears.

Great girls getaway! Amazing hosts
We booked the house for a quick girls getaway weekend. We had plenty of bed space for all of us. The property is an easy drive into Gatlinburg and also provides enough tranquility to spend a day in! We received great communication from our hosts before, during, and after the trip with updates and recommendations. Looking forward to go again.

Great place!
We love staying at this cabin. It is well equipped to meet your needs. The hosts are the best! Communication is great & they're right on top of everything. You have a beautiful view from the deck or you can have a fire in the fire pit while lounging on the hammock. We've stayed at several cabins & this one is by far the best! Added bonus, you get to see bears!

Family Fun
The property was great and as described. We saw bears and bear cubs right on the property which was amazing. Views were beautiful and it was perfect to have an entire downstairs for our grown children and the upstairs for adults. Perfect mountain stay!

The Bears Saved the Day!
The home was extremely dusty and dirty. Huge stain on bedroom carpet and all the carpets/rugs were dirty. Cobwebs on the lamps and the wooden blinds were filthy and many were broken. Not enough coffee cups (there were 4 of us) and some of the dishes were chipped. Cupboards had lots of food in them (didn't touch any of it). Things were difficult to find and kitchen was a bit disorganized. Furniture was well worn. Beds were comfortable (Master bedroom (King bed)) is on the lower level. No light over dining table which made playing board games a bit difficult. It was extremely hot while we were there so we were unable to utilize the deck as there was no shade. Saw the bears 6 out of 7 days. They were amazing to watch. They were the best part. House needs a deep clean and a bit of updating.

A MUST STAY - We will be back :)
We spent four nights in this home and absolutely loved our stay! There were seven of us in total, including two young kids, and we had plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen, living room, and dining area were all excellent spaces for spending time together. The views from the back deck were amazing! The kids can't stop talking about how much they loved seeing bears in the area. You will see Bears every morning and evening! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The perfect vacation with entertainment
Reading all of the reviews, I was hopeful that we would see some bear (from a distance). We were not disappointed in the least. Every day we saw a mama bear with one cub and another mama with 3 cubs. To watch them eat, play, nurse, and climb the trees was the highlight of the trip!

You can't go wrong with this cabin
It was better than the pictures. My kids loved the hot tub and foosball table. My wife and I loved the mountain views. Also, you have a very good chance to see bears frolicking around in the late afternoons! We would stay here again.

Refreshing Retreat
Nicely situated, the cabin allowed us to see the beautiful mountain ranges with spectacular sunrises and sunsets and to experience the beauty of wild life. Bears, rabbits, etc. Inside is cozy and very clean, a home away from home. Even with a group you can still eke out a place for private moments. Definitely worth it to stay here!

Amazing Birthday Vacation
Everything was just amazing. Olenia was very responsive and very helpful from the moment we booked. She answered all of our questions and helped us get settled in. We were very late getting to the property and it was going to be dark, so she had made arrangements for all of the lights to be turned on in the Cabin so we wouldn't have to stumble around to find lights, it was comforting to walk into a fully lit cabin. From the first step into the cabin we were blown away. The room were big and had everything we needed. The decks are spacious and had beautiful chairs for sitting and relaxing watching the view and the bears. The bears are so cute and not aggressive at all. We kept our distance of course but they didn't seem to mind us taking video and pictures of them. I cooked several nights and the kitchen had everything we needed, even some spices that I forgot to pick up at the store. We will be back and we will bring more friends and family with us as this place is huge! Thanks Olenia, for a great stay and making us feel at home in your home. Cant wait to come back!

This cabin is absolutely beautiful. The pantry is stocked with items you need for the stay like spices and sugar. They even have condiments in the fridge. The view is absolutely amazing. We saw a bear on the property a couple of times which we thought was super cool!! Definitely recommend staying here....10/10!

Beautiful cabin and view!
We were looking for a place far from the crowds but near to the beauty of the Smokies. This cabin certainly fit the bill. We had a roaring fire every night and great family time. We even saw four black bears walking just off the deck on several occasions. Beautiful sunrises too!
