Location was great. Everything within walking distance. Hotel is old and definitely needs some upgrades. Also parking garage very hard to park a full size truck

First I have to say the location was excellent. Everything was within walking distance. However, the property is old. Not old and charming. Just old and in need of upgrades. Parking garage has water pouring from the ceiling and it is hard to maneuver a full sized truck into a parking space. Next visit to Gatlinburg I will stay in the same area but will look for a newer hotel.

The bears warnings are real! 😁 We only stayed 2 nights but saw black bears 4 different times right in front of the hotel. It was fun.

Everything was great, it was quiet, even though we were directly over the pool. So the kids were a bit noisy. Beautiful view of the mountain, room was clean, Bed extremely comfortable. Last day, my partner found a huge cockroach, crawling across the floor, he used my sneaker to kill it. A few minutes later, the little critter was up and moving again! It took a few smashes to finally send him to cockroach heaven and down the toilet. Other than that, no issues whatsoever! Highly recommend!

The room overall was nice, the bathroom could use an upgrade and the parking carriage could be better. The free breakfast left a lot to be desired.
