Cousins’ Reunion

Spacious and well appointed property. Indescribable view. Last half mile not for the faint of heart, but totally doable. Planning on staying there again the next time we have a reunion!

LeConte Mountain Lodge

The stay was great! Farther UP than what I expected/wanted, Front Porch Ceiling Fans never worked (even maintenance couldn't get them to work) and Televisions downstairs didn't work because of poor internet connection. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Great mountain views

We had a very large group of family and friends staying 3 nights. The house was super clean and very spacious for all. A couple of the bunk rooms were very small but we made do and it didn’t spoil anyone’s time. We had kids that ranged from 8 to 20 year olds and the location allowed for all to be entertained. The older kids zip lined and the younger kids did the mountain coaster/go carts. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this beautiful home.

Very nice place overall. Could use some tlc in some areas and an update on some cooking utensils. Had a great time with 20 family members.

Getaway

It was a very nice place beautiful views.but after we checked in we noticed a window was missing in the bedroom and it was very cold in there called them they said they would send someone out that evening and fix it while we was gone they came and attempted to fix it wrapping the screen with plastic which that didnt last long because wind was blowing and very cold couldn't sleep in that bedroom so Saturday morning another call to come fix it and they sent someone again this time they boarded the window which was fine.so then the kids wanted to use the hot tub went and opened it up and looked liked it hadnt been cleaned for awhile had to call them back again and they said before they could send someone they would need pictures so took pictures and sent them they called and said someone would be to clean it Sunday they come and cleaned it they got to use it late sunday evening finally.we was just there 3 nights its a shame to pay what we paid and get there window missing and hot rub was dirty.they should have called and said the window is missing in the bedroom atleast. overall the place was nice and beautiful views but lack of communication lacked would we rent this place again thats a big no.contacted the owner and told her about what happened and all they said was they would find out what happened and guess what never emailed me back with no reply or reason for what happened.i also wrote her again and said you should make things right for that stay no reply.

The views were stunning. Everything was spotless. I believe the words “I’d eat off this floor” were used. Just above and beyond expectations and expectations were high. We plan on making this a yearly trip! 100/10 highly recommend.

Family reunion

The property was large and well furnished. The kitchen was large and easy to use with plenty of dishes and flatware. The view was amazing. It's a steep drive up and down to the cabin but worth it for the view. My problem with this listing is the fact that it described 10 bedrooms/ 8 baths. Most were very nice but two of the "rooms" which had a bunk bed, had issues. In one, the room was so small there was no door or even a curtain across the extremely small opening. Only the smallest of our group were able to squeeze into that room. There was a full size bunk bed with maybe 20 inches between the bed and the wall. Not sure how they even got that bed in there. The ladder to the top bunk was broken and the rail wobbly. Thank God there was no medical emergency. The rental folks offered to come fix the ladder but no one wanted to sleep on the top bunk in that tiny room. It stinks that someone had to pay $225 for their portion of this rental and have to sleep in that closet. (Actually, many closets are bigger than this "room") We counted on the accuracy of the description of all the rooms and even the pictures on the layout of that room were inaccurate. With such a large group we needed every space. The vent in another bunk room was not functional so the people in that room had to go buy a fan. With the money spent to rent this property we shouldn't have had to spend money to be comfortable. Several folks were sleeping on couches to stay cool

Family Time Together

The house was very clean, comfortable and spacious, the few issues we had did not stop us from enjoying ourselves, the parking was sorta cramped, the roads (which the owner has no control over) were scary to a few people, were very bad, so bad we all decided to get back early no late driving up or down at night, the main bathroom water not hot, and just before leaving we found the front stair board was very loose. However everyone said they had an awesome time and are planning on coming back next year. We all rated it a 9 1/2 out of 10.
