Ready for a relaxing time in the Great Smoky Mountains? This two-bedroom cabin in the Big Ridge Mountain Resort is just what you’ve been looking for! Featuring a mountain-modern aesthetic and a wall of windows that invites the outdoors in, you’ll downshift into vacation mode in no time. Outside, a large deck and private hot tub put you in the middle of the lovely natural surroundings.

Step outside onto the deck in the morning and have a seat on the couch with a cup of coffee, taking some time to unwind and appreciate the towering trees and majestic mountain views. When your stomach starts growling, step inside and take advantage of the well-equipped, stylish kitchen to prep some breakfast. Everything you need, including stainless steel appliances and all the gadgets, are on had to prep a feast or just a snack. The adjacent dining table seats six or, if it’s nice outside, take your meal back out to the deck and dine alfresco.

When it’s time to head out, you’re perfectly positioned to visit Gatlinburg’s charms. You’re a little over three miles to downtown’s shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions, and about six miles from the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. If you want to stay closer to home, you’ve got community pool access at the Big Ridge Mountain Resort.

Return to your cabin nestled in the woods after a day out and call your spot on one of the plush sofas in front of the gas fireplace while the grill master of the group fires up the gas grill on the deck. Afterward, the perfect place to end the night is with a relaxing soak in your private hot tub, ready for all the adventures you’ll have tomorrow.

More towels please
Great location and nice view!!! The water pressure is horrible especially in the master bath, we all just used the other shower but not much better. I would’ve liked to seen more towels we only had 4 so we had to wash them every day. The description says it sleeps six so I would expect at least that many towels!!! Overall the property is nice

We had an okay stay, the house was good and pretty clean. The fireplace had a note not too use, one reason I picked my stay ,but it wasn't cold. The neighbors were feeding the bears, but loved seeing them up close, a bit. The electricity went out the last evening we stayed and had no support. The ppl I texted said pretty much "too bad", we knew they couldn't change that but there were no candles allowed and one little emergency flashlight. Could use some emergency preparedness, like the electric companies# or someone contact us to tell us an estimate. we had started dinner and did not realize that when electric came back on (around 2am)the stove did too woke up to the burner on, yikes, our bad. So pretty much there was no local help. We have had stuff happen before and the help came and brought lighting or told us where in house it was. We had a pleasent stay though, the views r nice, hot tub was good after long hikes. Thanks.

Great location, but house had a bunch of issues(the app didnt let me finish my review)
First of all when we arrived we noticed the house is smaller than the pictures. As we walked in, the house wasnt half as clean as we are use to (dog hair on sheets, strong smell coming from the couch and pillows and carpet, had to rewash all kitchen utensils bowls plates pans , basically anything we planned on using bevause it was all Sticky or dirty. The water temperature was set to 160° so first thing i turned on the water and burned my hand. Should have enjoyed that hot water u guess bevause that was one of the only times we actually had hot water there. When we showed up on Wednesday night water was hot, and Thursday morning it was freezimg cold so we waited because we thought that it was maybe a small bolier and needed to warm up firat, but we came back from the day to it still being freezing and when i cold to complain i was told someone was going to come out in the morning next day because it was too late (this was already around 8pm) so i was annoyed but understood. So the adults rinsed off in cold water and the kids didnt shower and couldnt use the hot tub because they couldnt shower after. Next morning comes and nothing, so i texted who ever i was texting with the day before and she said someone is on their way (10am) no one came until noon so we left for the day (again, were on vacation) , and got a call right after we left from a plumber that was on his way and was going to let us know whats up with the water, no one called us all day, we come home...

Beautiful Home! Love the Mountain View! All new modern appliances and having 2 showers is a plus. Hot tub was perfect temp. Will recommend to anyone. Be prepared to find this home when it’s daylight. Can get dark in the hills.

Excellent overall vacation. This home has had a great home remodel. It's open with great mountain views. Out of all of the mountain homes we have stay in over 30 plus years, this was one of my favorites.

There’s two mice living in this place
The property itself was super cute and the view was absolutely amazing! We thought it was great at first but then we seen mice living under the kitchen sink. My husband figured out they get in through the crawlspace so gross. We were all very freaked out and disgusted after that.

Overall Outstanding location, house, hot tub. I would only say that the steps coming down from the house need path lights. Steps hard to see at night and there was something that was spilled in the Kitchen when we first got there but Truly an Awesome Experience and look forward to staying here again. Thank You.

Fire place didn’t work, string lights on porch didn’t work, there was a Christmas tree in the living room (we visited in March). The inside was pretty clean, the outside needs some work. The view from the front was very pretty and it’s conveniently located to town.

A parents perspective
The location of this house was very ideal, for us..close to grocery store, 10ish minutes to downtown Gatlinburg, 10 minutes to playground (Herbert Holt Park) & 25 ish minutes to some hikes. The view out the front windows is beautiful! A few important things to note when considering this house if traveling with small children (we were traveling with a 1yr old & 3yr old) ; the home does not have a bathtub so be prepared to have your children shower solo, with you or not at all ( ; The closet off the bathroom in the master is a prefect fit & place for a pack & play. We felt very comfortable putting our our 1 yr old in there, with the doors of course propped open for safety when sleeping. It’s nice & dark & quiet (IYKYK). Be sure to bring some type of highchair with you. We brought our Inglesina Fast Table Chair and it worked perfect at the table for our 1 yr old. I also appreciated the fenced in front patio and felt comfortable letting our 1 yr old putts around out there without having to chase him. The day after our arrival my son & husband went to use the hottub and it was VERY cold. We are familiar with hottubs as we have one at home & out of caution for our own health & safety, I brought with us some test strips to check the chemical levels and everything read very off (chlorine, PH, alkalinity, hardness). My husband also checked the filter and reported that it was very dirty & moldy smelling. I reached out to Vacasa home-care team and they sent someone out to reset the breaker within a couple hours & checked the bromine tablets (there was a sufficient amount). They said that they would order a new filter, but it would take a couple days to arrive (to our knowledge it didn’t arrive/wasn’t replaced during our stay). They also suggested that the hottub is filled with well water so that might effect the chemical levels when tested. After the breaker was reset, the hottub was heated within a couple hours. The property care taker did reach out that evening to check in to see if the hottub had heated up, it was a nice gesture. Overall, we would recommend this property to others despite the hiccups with the hottub!

Nice view but lacking
It was close to attractions and dining, and had a nice view, but otherwise, just a basic rental property. Not very homey. It was fairly clean, but the cleaning job was cleary rushed. I wouldn't choose this rental again.

Stayed four nights with friends, location to hiking, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge was super convenient. View of the mountain was breathtaking. Covered hot tub was handy when it sprinkled. 10/10!

This property has a beautiful view for sure. The fridge sounded TERRIBLE! We called everyday at least once a day and it was never addressed. Could definitely use some curtains on the front windows. Pretty bare bones as far as anything else goes. 1 bar of soap for 2 bathrooms. Would be a great place with some fixing up and attention

Great location, some snags with features...
The view was incredible. We did however have some issues with the features of the property. Starting with a leaky fridge when we first entered, and we had to disable the cold water in the kitchen. The leak was skateboard stored by disabling the ice maker, meaning no ice. The fireplace is gas not electric and there was no gas available in the house so no fireplace all week. Finally on last eve when we went to use the wash and dry, both were dead. Property people were able to turn on the drier remotely but the wash never did function, leaving us with a ton of dirty clothes. Also the two bathrooms are not full bathrooms but 3/4, with showers only, toilets, and sinks. On any service call request we never received followup that the issues were actually worked on, we had to guess when the issues were looked at.

A great cabin
Cabin was very clean on the inside, outside could use some love, (not clean) 3 tvs no cable, no mention of the 27 steps up with no rails half way up, (I had my 80 year old aunt with me and it would have been nice to know ahead of time) we all enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
