We always like to stay here. The breakfast never disappoints. As to be expected in an old hotel, there are signs of old age, like the wood flooring creaks and slopes in some spots down the halls. The wood work in the room is old and worn looking, so if you’re looking for something modern, shiney, and updated with the latest gray decor, this isn’t it.
It’s very charming and I feel like I’ve been transported back in time to the 1930’s !!!
My husband is 81 years old and unable to walk much but we were able to walk to a few places to eat. I was disappointed that the trolley doesn’t come up that way and down the main strip anymore. But if you’re younger and able to walk up and down the strip, this is a good location,
We will always come back and stay here when we are in the area again.
