Let us welcome you to one of the most amazing views in the Gatlinburg area. After you drive across part of the golf course which you will have access to, you will begin your drive up the ridge to mountain bliss finding peace and tranquility at the top. Come to our 'home away from home' and relax while admiring the awesome view of the Smoky Mountains. Sleep late in our comfortable king size bed or get up early for a cup of fresh brewed coffee on your private balcony while viewing God's amazing handiwork. Be quiet so not to wake the kids as they sleep on the unbelievably restful Simmons sleeper sofa. One bathroom is connected to a bedroom and the other bathroom in located in the hall just outside the other bedroom. Both have been beautifully redecorated. Many activities for the day are yours for the choosing. Put supper in the crock pot and it's off for a day of fun and enjoyment with activities such as hiking, whitewater paddling including rafting, shopping, swimming, sightseeing, visits to Dollywood Theme Park, water parks, fly fishing, and many, many more You may choose to spend some well earned quiet time just reading a fabulous book or watch TV on one of our 3 LCD flat screen TVs, possibly choosing a movie from our video library. Within minutes, you will also be able to enjoy golfing, hiking, shopping, and eating at one of many delicious restaurants. Build a cozy fire on a cold winter's night in your own fireplace or relax on the balcony while admiring the awesome nightly view of Gatlinburg with its appearance of burning candles all over the mountain. My husband and I met our daughter and granddaughters for a late Christmas, NYE and our newest grandbaby's 1 month birthday celebration. The location was beautiful and we were able to watch fireworks from Gatlinburg. Thank you for sharing your home with us and allowing us to celebrate as a family

Deer Ridge after Christmas
It was exactly as advertised. Location is great for the views but driving up steep inclines and very tight turns takes time, be patient and give yourself plenty of travel time for your activities. The on-suite bathroom in in the smaller bedroom with a queen bed. Only thing that would have made this better is a ceiling fan.

We really enjoyed the view. Comfortable furniture, comfortable beds. Full kitchen. Great to have 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Be nice to have extra kitchen towel and dish cloth to wipe things down in kitchen. Soap for showers in addition to shampoo/conditioner would be nice to have. Please include that in listing so patrons can bring since convenience store not nearby. Enjoyed our stay.

Our stay at the Deer Ridge Mountain Resort was wonderful! The condo was clean and comfortable. The view of the mountains from our balcony was breathtaking! Our host was great and available if needed. He even recommended a few restaurants that we thoroughly enjoyed! After checking out, we even got a chance to see a big black bear walking in the road ahead of our vehicle as we were leaving the resort! We would definitely stay again!

Nice little condo very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was small but the bathrooms were roomy. Loved the flooring! The drive up was scary the first few times but you get used to it. Did see a bear on the way up!!!!! It is about 30 to 40 minutes outside of town

Loved the views from the property. We were very comfortable in the condo, our children loved the pool, and it was in a nice location away from the crazy crowds in Gatlinburg but not far if you wanted a visit. Pretty close to great hiking in the Smoky Mountains!

Cozy condo for a couple with an amazing view
Condo was clean and perfect for the two of us. I could see sharing with young children but it would be overcrowded with two more adults. Balcony has an amazing view but is barely large enough for the two chairs and side table on it. We had to jockey positions frequently to get in and out. Afternoon sun was brutal on the balcony dashing my hopes of drinks on the balcony after our hikes. It's an easy drive into Gatlinburg if you want. Trish's Mountain diner was an easy drive for breakfast then the Greenbrier entrance to Smokey mountains was just a little further with several hiking trails. Makes for a nice day. Tip for travelers who live in flatlands and have never been here. Don't drive your big ol extended cab long bed dually truck on this Vacation, these roads aren't made for it! Steep, twisty, barely wide enough to pass another vehicle and they don't seem to believe in guardrails here.

Best View in the Smokeys
This is a two-bedroom, two-bath condo, with a living room and kitchen, and a beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony. Not spacious, but certainly adequate. Our daughter and one of her girls slept in the bedroom with the king bed and the other girl chose the sleeper sofa. My wife and I had a queen bed and a private bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed and the place was clean. The drive up the hill at night with the switchbacks was challenging for our daughter, but she was proud of herself for doing it. They girls enjoyed the nice swimming pool, the tennis court, the big swings and the corn-hole and ping-pong games in the picnic shelter. Their only "complaint" was they didn't see any bears rummaging around the site. But we did see one on a drive through the park.

We started off our vacation by following the host’s suggestion of taking the alternate route to the condo, saved us a ton of time! We appreciated the extra paper towels, toilet paper, and other items provided even though we brought our own. And this was a huge plus for us… the host has stainless steel pots and pans. Not Teflon! The view was incredible from the balcony, the best we have ever seen from a rental in the Smokies. I highly suggest staying here.
