Amazing stay in the Smokies
The first thing you will notice about your stay is the attentive host, Alison, who was very communicative and responsive to questions leading up to the trip. The second thing you will notice, and what will trump all the other great things about this property, is the amazing view of the Smoky Mountains. We chose this cabin over several others because of what looked like a great view on the listing photos. In reality, itâs even better than the photos. We greatly enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking out at the mountains for miles, or just enjoying the view from inside the cabin with floor to ceiling windows. The cabin itself was great, with plenty of sleeping and sitting area for 19 of us. We didnât use the hot tubs much because it was so hot the week we were there, but would have had it been cooler. The pool table was a hit, and the big dining tables made playing games easy. The movie room was nice also. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, dishes and utensils. It has two sinks and two dishwashers, as well as two refrigerators which were all so useful. Washer and dryer as well. We saw several bears, including a mama with cubs right by the cabin, but we never felt unsafe. Some have said how steep the driveway is but it didnât appear to be much steeper, if at all, than many of the other ones we saw, and none of our six vehicles had trouble making it up. The road coming in is very windy but didnât seem scary at all. In summary, I highly recommend this property!!!
