Smoky Mountain Dreamin! Summit Condo best views in Gburg! New indoor pool open!!

Conveniently located above downtown Gatlinburg in the Summit of Gatlinburg condo community. “Smoky Mountain Dreaming” has one of the most breathtaking views of the downtown Gatlinburg, Mt LeConte and Ober Gatlinburg's ski slopes and tubing run. All views are no less than spectacular from every window. This TOP (3rd) floor unit has 3 bedrooms, the master has a queen size bed, the second bedroom with twin beds, and the loft has a queen also. A newly upgraded electric fireplace in the living area. If you have mobility issues please note there is NO elevator. The private spectrum WiFi is excellent.

The view from the cabin is great both day and night. You can watch the skiers on ski slopes and the tubing runs in Ober Gatlinburg to the right and on the left you can see the lights of Gatlinburg at night. In between you have Mt LeConte and several other mountain chains.

The Summit amenities include newly remodeled indoor pool and 2 spas, outdoor pool playground, a game room and a coin operated laundry. All of these are a short walk from the condo. Charcoal grills and seating area.

Roads to the Summit are well paved and well maintained. You have a direct path down to Gatlinburg or you can avoid Gatlinburg using the bypass and go to Pigeon Forge. (Note: the roads are good, but getting to the top of the mountain is curvy.)

Views are awesome!
Took my family for a weekend sledding (little kids) at ober. I didn’t realize the apartment actually overlooked the slopes but it was fun to watch skiers and sledder from the balcony and window. Also it only took 6 minutes to get over there from our apartment which was amazing! The house was very clean (I’m a stickler for this) and the necessaries were all available. Would stay here again!FYI- I Loved the drive up the mountain but it was very steep and very windy so not everyone would enjoy that part. We brought our 4wheel drive truck, which we didn’t need to use 4wheel, but it made me more comfortable with the drive.

You will want to return every year!
This was our second stay at Smoky Mountain Dreamin. We could not ask for anything more. The view cannot be beat! The condo is a quick ride to Gatlinburg and surrounding cities. There is ample parking. We love how the condo is decorated. You even have a pretty good chance of seeing bears there! We saw a mom and 3 cubs one day and another bear a few days later. The check-in and checkout process are very easy and well communicated. We can't wait to stay at the Higgins property next year!

Great place!
We had a wonderful stay at this location! It was impeccably clean and extremely convenient, with everything we needed for a short-term stay. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the space was cozy and comfortable. While we didn’t get to see any bears this time, the serene atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made it a perfect getaway. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-appointed place to stay!

Its a nice place with a great view, we even saw a bear. It is smaller that the pictures looked but still nice. Only thing i didnt like was all of the stairs, no elevator.

We enjoyed the accommodations and had multiple black bear sightings! For Gatlinburg visitors, it is a great location. If you will be traveling back and forth from Pigeon Forge, the driving is a bit much. We had a great experience.

The drive up and down is narrow with hair pin turns, but the stunning views make it worthwhile. There are several steps down to the condo, then stairs up to 3rd floor worth noting for anyone with mobility concerns. Very clean and did I mention the views - just stunning, definitely worthy of another stay if back in the area.

The property is absolutely amazing. The drive up the mountain is very windy with great views. The place itself was clean and cozy. My favorite spot was the balcony, watching the fog roll over the tops of the trees and the sun rise over the mountains. Sitting there every morning with some coffee was a great way to wake up in the morning before heading out to tackle that day’s activities. Also, there’s quite a few bears up there, so if you’re into wildlife and/or photography like me, it’s perfect!

First time in the area. Close and convenient to Gatlinburg but outside of the busy zone. Absolutely stunning view from the balcony looking down to Gatlinburg. Bear sightings daily. Just don’t be the bad people who feed them. I would highly recommend as I will be returning here again

Condo is near the top of a mountain so be ready for a very curvy drive, takes aprox 15 minutes to get down the mountain from condo down to the city, but well worth it for the views from the deck.
