Bearly Escape features 4 Master Suites each with a king-size log bed and Jacuzzi Tub for Two with adjoining full bath, TV & view of the mountains. Enjoy the view from inside or step out onto the deck to be surrounded by stunning scenery.

Bearly Escape is located on a hill just 2 miles off the Scenic Highway (called the Spur) 1.5 mi from Pigeon Forge and 3 miles from the heart of Gatlinburg.

You have easy access to all the outlet stores, restaurants & entertainment venues that the area has to offer, and with a short drive back to the cabin you will be away from the noise.

Even Townsend, Sugerland Visitor’s Center, Cades Cove & The Smoky Mountain National Forest are a short drive away.

Ober Gatlinburg with its snow skiing, snowboarding and tubing during the winter and a water park during the warm months is a family favorite and DOLLYWOOD is only a stone’s throw away

About The Owner: My name is Bill and my wife's name is Liliane. I am from South Florida and Liliane is from Switzerland.

Liliane speaks English, German, French and a little Spanish, I speak good old American....LOL.

We love the outdoors and all that goes with it. We visited one of our friends cabins in the Smoky Mountains and we fell in love with the area. We could hike on any of the 300 miles of trails, go white water rafting on the Pigeon River or just kayak on any of the rivers in the area. My wife loves skiing and with Ober Gatlinburg just a few minutes away she can go skiing while I stick to tubing (remember I am a Florida boy). Even in the spring, summer and fall there are things to do there.

We have just begun to explore this wonderful area, but have already found our Little Piece of Heaven and we want to share it with you. Come and enjoy, you too will fall in love.

Please enjoy our cabin, but make sure you visit the wonderful sights and entertainment that the Smoky Mountains have to offer, like white water rafting, kayaking, hiking, skiing, tubing on snow and rivers, and the shows in town.

Whatever you do, just relax and enjoy our cabin.

Family Vacation
What an amazing Cabin nestled in the mountains. Bill made the process so easy and was the best host. We saw two bears and had squirrels visit everyday that ate peanuts from our hand. My entire family had the best time and made memories for a lifetime! We are already planning our next trip! We highly recommend Bearly Escape.

Wonderful cabin!
This was our first family trip to the smoky mountains. This cabin was perfect! So many things close to the property. The cabin had plenty of room and beautiful views. The trip up the mountain was a little more than I expected but well worth it!!

Bearly Escape is a perfect place to take several families. It is very spacious and decorated just like you would expect a mountain cabin to look like. The views from the cabin are beautiful! I would highly recommend Bearly Escape!

VACAY STAY
Our vacay stay was from 12.28.2024 thru 1.4.2025. Our family, ages 16 to 63, gathered here to ring in 2025! The cabin was immaculate and as advertised. We especially liked that it was still decorated for Christmas. The parking was plenty as we arrived in four separate vehicles. Special note that four wheel drive is highly recommended. We did see the bears frolic in the back of the property one morning; which was a special treat! We could see the fireworks clearly from the property which provided joy when we rang in the new year! I would highly recommend this cabin for any size family! Thank you for providing us with a very relaxed vacation!

We had the best time at this cabin. It was decorated for Christmas which made it more special. The game room was fantastic and everyone enjoyed having their own suite. The views were amazing and we were able to eat together and watch movies. We will likely stay again in the future!

Very nice cabin. Four identical large master bedrooms, each with a private full bathroom and with a whirlpool bathtub. Nice views from the two (upper and lower floor) porches. Lots of bear sightings in the neighborhood. Great game room with pool table and very cool old-school video game table. About a 10-15 minute ride down the mountain to town (either Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg) on a twisty but fully paved road, with a couple of somewhat steep (but short) sections. An AWD would be nice, but as long as the weather is good, not really necessary. The hosts were very accommodating and courteous. Responded to all our inquiries in a timely and concise fashion. Would certainly recommend this cabin.

Perfect Mountain Cabin
Family enjoyed the two covered outdoor decks that overlook wonderful mountain views and surrounded by wildlife. Many activities were offered and enjoyed such as Foosball, darts, checkers, a pool table, hot tub, video games, etc. It was nice that each bedroom was a suite that had it's own masterbath.

Beautiful Cabin, plenty of room, lots to do. A great family get away cabin.
Stayed Oct 19,2024 for one week. Beautiful cabin, beautiful view, property looked as it was showed on VRBO. Enjoyed the hot tub, gas fireplace, rocking chairs, and all the activities the cabin provided. Owners responded very quickly to emails and were "VERY" nice in responding to all emails and texts. We had 8 bears visits / sightings this week at the cabin. So when the owner says lock your vehicle ---please listen. Parking was very good for 2 large SUV vehicles, 1 truck, and one small SUV. House had everything we needed to cook with, all the linens, and had easy check in and check out instructions. I would love to stay here again - We didn't want to leave.... We highly recommend this place for family get aways.

Had a great time. Weather was great and travels to and from attractions was very convenient. Cabin layout and furnishings made it a comfortable and restful stay. Host was the best - very friendly, helpful and responsive. Bear activity allowed us to see bears on two different days. One mom and two cubs on one sighting and mom and three cubs on another day. Right at front porch!

Stunning mountain views are just the start for this very well equipped cabin. The host also decorated the cabin so nice for the fall season. Love all the details and that all.4 king bedrooms.were exactly the same in size, so no arguing on who gets the biggest bedroom lol. And the bathrooms are some of the largest ive seen in a cabin rental. Bill, the host, is always very responsive and such a pleasure to.talk with. Would absolutely rent thos cabin again.

Good, but didn't like the drive up and down to the cabin. I don't think the dishwasher works like it should. I think there should have been more dishcloths and dishtowels. I would have like to have had more than one hand towel in each bedroom. I wish you could have controlled the rain, but that is not your job. Hope the area recovers from the massive rainfall!

The 4 bedroom cabin was beautiful and roomy. The owner, Bill, was very nice to deal with answering any questions we had. The drive up the mountain was a little hard with no marking on the road to be able to see the edge of the road at night.

Great mountain stay!
Had a great stay! The house is perfectly located for hiking trips, and day trips to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville. Great view from the back deck. Kitchen was well stocked. Easy communication with the owners - we had a minor issue early on and it was taken care of immediately. Would definitely stay there again!
