Bearly Escape features 4 Master Suites each with a king-size log bed and Jacuzzi Tub for Two with adjoining full bath, TV & view of the mountains. Enjoy the view from inside or step out onto the deck to be surrounded by stunning scenery.

Bearly Escape is located on a hill just 2 miles off the Scenic Highway (called the Spur) 1.5 mi from Pigeon Forge and 3 miles from the heart of Gatlinburg.

You have easy access to all the outlet stores, restaurants & entertainment venues that the area has to offer, and with a short drive back to the cabin you will be away from the noise.

Even Townsend, Sugerland Visitor’s Center, Cades Cove & The Smoky Mountain National Forest are a short drive away.

Ober Gatlinburg with its snow skiing, snowboarding and tubing during the winter and a water park during the warm months is a family favorite and DOLLYWOOD is only a stone’s throw away

About The Owner: My name is Bill and my wife's name is Liliane. I am from South Florida and Liliane is from Switzerland.

Liliane speaks English, German, French and a little Spanish, I speak good old American....LOL.

We love the outdoors and all that goes with it. We visited one of our friends cabins in the Smoky Mountains and we fell in love with the area. We could hike on any of the 300 miles of trails, go white water rafting on the Pigeon River or just kayak on any of the rivers in the area. My wife loves skiing and with Ober Gatlinburg just a few minutes away she can go skiing while I stick to tubing (remember I am a Florida boy). Even in the spring, summer and fall there are things to do there.

We have just begun to explore this wonderful area, but have already found our Little Piece of Heaven and we want to share it with you. Come and enjoy, you too will fall in love.

Please enjoy our cabin, but make sure you visit the wonderful sights and entertainment that the Smoky Mountains have to offer, like white water rafting, kayaking, hiking, skiing, tubing on snow and rivers, and the shows in town.

Whatever you do, just relax and enjoy our cabin.

Challenging to review , just so much better than we expected !!!
It beats the descriptions !! Don’t even waste time reading just book it and stay as long as possible !!! It beats the pictures !! Don’t even look at them just book it and go see the details and how the owners used talent and taste to decorate this beautiful house !! Satisfaction is provided in every square inch . Clean , clean , clean , did I say Clean … ? 👌 Biking with friends in the area , you have to stay here and build your trails from this starting point , you can bike for days and then come back to the most well designed comfort and fun !! We will be back for sure 👍 The owners are great and go the extra mile , they are definitely having fun with their guests , that also adds a lot in the experience. Just book it now !!! Perfect Mountain Cabin
Family enjoyed the two covered outdoor decks that overlook wonderful mountain views and surrounded by wildlife. Many activities were offered and enjoyed such as Foosball, darts, checkers, a pool table, hot tub, video games, etc. It was nice that each bedroom was a suite that had it's own masterbath.

Beautiful Cabin, plenty of room, lots to do. A great family get away cabin.
Stayed Oct 19,2024 for one week. Beautiful cabin, beautiful view, property looked as it was showed on VRBO. Enjoyed the hot tub, gas fireplace, rocking chairs, and all the activities the cabin provided. Owners responded very quickly to emails and were "VERY" nice in responding to all emails and texts. We had 8 bears visits / sightings this week at the cabin. So when the owner says lock your vehicle ---please listen. Parking was very good for 2 large SUV vehicles, 1 truck, and one small SUV. House had everything we needed to cook with, all the linens, and had easy check in and check out instructions. I would love to stay here again - We didn't want to leave.... We highly recommend this place for family get aways.

Great cabin
Had a great time. Weather was great and travels to and from attractions was very convenient. Cabin layout and furnishings made it a comfortable and restful stay. Host was the best - very friendly, helpful and responsive. Bear activity allowed us to see bears on two different days. One mom and two cubs on one sighting and mom and three cubs on another day. Right at front porch!

Grandma and her family
Good, but didn't like the drive up and down to the cabin. I don't think the dishwasher works like it should. I think there should have been more dishcloths and dishtowels. I would have like to have had more than one hand towel in each bedroom. I wish you could have controlled the rain, but that is not your job. Hope the area recovers from the massive rainfall!

The 4 bedroom cabin was beautiful and roomy. The owner, Bill, was very nice to deal with answering any questions we had. The drive up the mountain was a little hard with no marking on the road to be able to see the edge of the road at night.

Great mountain stay!
Had a great stay! The house is perfectly located for hiking trips, and day trips to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville. Great view from the back deck. Kitchen was well stocked. Easy communication with the owners - we had a minor issue early on and it was taken care of immediately. Would definitely stay there again!

Bearly Escape
We found the cabin to be as advertised. We got there 1-1/2 hours early and called Bill and he let us in early. The cabin was clean. We saw bears just about every day in the yard and on the road. Word of warning, keep your car doors locked. My son didn't and a bear got in his car. No damages. We had a great family vacation. Thanks Bill!

Bearly Escape is wonderful!!
We all were in awe when we opened the door to Bearly Escape! The decorating tops it and brings you right into the "feel of the Smokey Mountains"! The location was great, the information Bill provided for us was great, and we were not in need of anything! Our grandchildren loved the Play Station when we were home to use it (!), the downstairs pool table and hot tub, and when we did prepare a meal - we ate out on the deck on the picnic table. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at Bearly Escpape - we will never forget this trip and would love to return again! Not enough characters to go into great detail!!!!

Fantastic Cabin
Can't say enough about this cabin! Our extended family of 9 ranging in ages from 4 to 67 had the best time here. The game room with the billiard table, games, darts, etc. was a real plus. We also appreciated having a bathroom in each bedroom, no waiting to see who would be next in for the shower. Beautiful views from the gorgeous decks that had lots of seating and a picnic table! The hot tub got a real workout with our crew. Bill was a dream to work with, he even sent loads of information about the area ahead of time which was a big help since this was our first trip to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We were lucky enough to see quite a few bears during our stay too!!! Dollywood, Anakeesta, The Island and of course trips through the beautiful Smoky Mountains were just a few of the places we visited. Can't say enough about this cabin, it was clean, comfortable, and just simply beautiful. All of our family members were extremely impressed. Thanks again to Bill and Liliane for helping to make this a vacation we will always remember.

We had a lovely stay in the mountains! The property was as described and our host was kind and responsive. The kitchen was well equipped and the view was wonderful. There are so many fun activities for all to enjoy in the area. We look forward to returning in the near future!

The cabin is as described for the most part. Could use a deep cleaning, walls being wiped down and such, but understand that can't be done in the limited time between renters. Owners were quick to respond to any issues we had. We very much appreciated being able to bring our two dogs with us. I don't think the squirrels liked our dogs though. They didn't come onto the deck for us like they have for others. It was great having 4 king suites as well. There were no arguments about who got the better room! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cabin, aside from the very steep curves coming up from town.

Relaxing getaway
We had a wonderful stay! We enjoyed our days and nights in the hot tub and relaxing on the deck swing. In addition to the pool table, corn hole, and arcade games, there are plenty of board games stocked! Bring a couple of dish towels if you don't plan on running dishwasher every day (only 1 was provided). Beds and furniture were clean and comfortable. Bill is a great host and responded promptly to my messages!

Great stay!
Had a great trip with family to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. Cabin had everything we needed. Heard bobcats our first night and an ambitious woodpecker the next morning at 7am. Family enjoyed the game room each night and sitting on the decks. The only complaint was the musky smell when we first arrived.

Everything from start to finish went very well. We met family from Orlando FL, Palm Harbor FL, Neoga,IL and Neoga, IL. 4 different families of our children and grandchildren and even a girlfriend thrown into the mix. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was a good size for cooking meals and playing games. A good time was had by all. We went hiking and went to Anakeesta and to the Ripley’s aquarium. We went out for a family meal to The Old Mill which is really close to the cabin.

Perfect directions! Hills a little steep. The cabin was absolutely beautiful. Very clean, cozy, well stocked. We loved that the cabin was closer to Gatlinburg, rather than all the traffic on the parkway. Very private and large enough for all the adults.

The cabin was perfect lovel the bedrooms Beds were very comfortable and having a bathroom in each bathroom. Very clean and well equipped with everything you need. So much space in this cabin would recommend this cabin and hope to go back again.
