Are you looking for the perfect getaway? Picture yourself in a cozy Appalachian style log cabin. The soft breeze blowing through the trees while you're swinging on the porch swing sipping iced tea. The views from the porch and windows are of evergreens, hardwoods and the enchanting Smoky Mountains. You have all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. You have a jacuzzi, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bath w/shower, washer & dryer, central heat & air and Weber charcoal grill. You can even nap in the hammock nestled in the trees. The 'tree house' cabin has earned its name because it feels like you are literally in a treehouse when you are rocking or swinging on the covered porch. You are surrounded by nature at its finest. Come for a visit and see why so many of our guests return time and time again.

Treehouse Cabin
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is extremely clean in a quiet peaceful setting. It has everything you need to make your stay easy. Even though you’re off the main road it’s convenient to get to restaurants etc. we will definitely book this cabin for another stay.

Perfect Getaway for Peace and Quiet
If you are looking for a place off the beaten path in order to have some peace and quiet, this is the place. Nothing fancy, but definitely comfortable. And in reality it is only a short drive to groceries, food, and activities. The bed was comfortable. The AC was strong. Everything we needed was available. There wasn't anything that was a problem or frustration. Our favorite moment in the cabin was sitting on the porch in the red rocking chairs watching the lighting storm in the distance flash white lights in between the trees. No rain. No thunder. But a fun light show. We booked this cabin because we were going to spend the day inner tubing down the river. We have no regrets.

Property was very clean! Stay was comfortable. Melody had good communication. We enjoyed our stay. We are not the retail type so staying outside of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge was a must. They are very close to the property, should you want to visit. We were very close to the National park and that was perfect for us.

If you like peaceful you’ll love this. Only a couple miles out of town but only minutes from fuel, groceries, restaurants, etc. Beautiful cabin, super clean and comfortable, great covered deck for coffee or cocktails, wonderful host, really enjoyed our stay.

Smoky Mountains
The treehouse was in a beautiful location, great for relaxing after a long day of hiking in smoky Mountain National Park. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen fully appointed, and the porch nice to relax on. We didn’t need anything, but the owner was quick to call and offer to leave lights on for us or anything else we might need. The air conditioning kept us cool and comfortable the whole time.

Treehouse cabin
We loved our stay at treehouse cabin. Lots of privacy. We enjoyed the hot tub and barbecuing on the front porch. Yoga on the back porch with birds singing in the background every morning made it extra special. Definitely would recommend.

Bigfoot Lives
Booked this wonderful cabin for the Bigfoot Festival in Townsend and found the best gem of a host and location. The cabin was exactly as the photos show. Everything we needed was there. Beds were comfy, patio swing was perfect after a long drive and the sounds of nature was such a pleasant experience from city traffic sounds. Would highly recommend this hidden getaway and will certainly book again when heading to this area again.

Peaceful hideaway
The owner made us feel right at home with easy check in, check out, all amenities we wanted. She called to check on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Loved the screened in porch, rockers, and porch swing. It was especially relaxing as we listened to the rain on the tin roof. Very clean. Would recommend for couples or small family.

Nice spot, the wooded view was nice.
Stayed with my husband for two nights a few weeks ago, as we love Townsend and the quiet - while being a short ride to restaurants and activities. I’ll start with the pros: 1. Host was very nice, accommodating and thoughtful in communications. Can’t speak to her friendliness highly enough! 2. It’s relatively quiet and pretty peaceful. 3. The jacuzzi tub inside is nice and gets very warm. 4. Property inside is clean. 5. Kitchen had most necessities. 6. Cable/satellite was appreciated. The cons: 1. This is a mostly wooded view. You can see a bit of mountain if you lean on the porch. It’s nice for a wooded view but I did expect more Mountain View. 2. The furnishings both inside and out could use some updating. The beds are very firm. We tried both. 3. Your neighbors are close. I would not call this spot secluded… we had to close 2/3 of the curtains because we had a very clear view of the other cabins/homes. For the price and great location, it’s worth it. Just know it’s an older more rustic cabin, not exactly secluded, and you won’t really have the gorgeous mountain view. We still had a nice time and would recommend for anyone who is looking to be close to the mountains.

This little treehouse was so comfortable and quiet! Perfect for just sitting and relaxing on the porch. The bed and couches were comfy and easy to nap in! If you're looking for things to do, it is extremely close to Tuckaleechee Caverns and Cade's Cove.

Wonderful!!
Very highly recommend. We enjoyed our stay so much! The cottage was extremely clean and very cozy. The kitchen was fully stocked. Melody, our host, even called and offered to leave the porch light on for us if we arrived after dark. The area is beautiful without any traffic so it was really nice sitting on the swing or in the rocking chairs on the back deck. We will definitely be staying here again!
