Private LAKEFRONT HOME on All Sports "Lake 27" in Gaylord : 5 miles to downtown

Magnificent Lakefront Retreat set on private, heavily wooded 2 acres with 200 feet of frontage on "all sports" Lake 27. We rent Sunday to Sunday (by the week only) in the summer months or a 3-day minimum during May and September. Our house is located less than 1 mile from the Gaylord Country Club and 3 miles from Meijer. In 15 minutes, you can be at the base of Boyne Mountain! 10 minutes to Otsego Club; 15 minutes to Tree Tops. 45 mins-1 hour away from the Mackinac Island Ferry, Bay Harbor, Petoskey, Charlevoix and Traverse City areas. For(e) golf enthusiasts, we are located in the middle of what is known as "The Golf Mecca".
The views from the deck are Gorgeous. We LOVE Lake 27, otherwise known as the best kept secret in Northern Michigan! The warm, clear water and beautiful, sandy beach make great swimming for all ages. Your family can bring a boat or rent a boat in town and enjoy tubing, waterskiing and sunset cruises. Please enjoy using our 5 SUP's (Stand Up Paddleboards), 2 Kayaks, Canoe, Firepit, etc. The 2 lake side patios have electric and are set up with chairs, picnic table and grill. The large fire pit is great for star gazing, s'more making, and storytelling.
In the 112-acre lake you will find walleye, pike, bass, and sunfish.
The house is 2800 square feet and features 4 bedrooms (3 bedrooms and 1 bunkroom) and each bedroom has its own bathroom. Great for spreading out the crew! Our newly renovated kitchen and new appliances along with a new gas grill make cooking a joy. The house also has air conditioning- rare in Northern Michigan rentals.
Wood burning fireplace in the living room, HD Direct TV with Netflix is also available in the living room. The lower-level rec room has a full bar area, TV, fridge, ice maker, pool table/ping pong table, and ms.pac-man/galaga arcade game. Master bedroom, Main Floor bedroom, and Bunk room have HD Direct TV. There is an attached oversized two car garage and lots of parking on the side of the house.
This is the perfect home for making multi-generational memories!

SUMMER: Swim, boat, fish, kayak, stand up paddle, trails for hiking, biking, grill, bon-fires, day trips, wine-tasting, rafting on the Sturgeon River...the list goes on and on.

GOLF: Known as the Golf Mecca, the Gaylord area has 17 championship courses nearby to challenge you. The Gaylord Country Club is next door and Treetops is incredible in the fall.

DINING/SHOPPING: We will provide the most wonderful guide that our daughter put together of all the BEST places to go and things to do, once we receive your reservation.

Lake 27 lake house is a gem!
Can't say enough wonderful things about this property or the owner. House is better than the pictures. Lake is beautiful. Went at peak color time and the town/area are lovely. The downstairs bar/game area was a favorite of my kids. Joe was very attentive and even helped us to plan a wonderful day trip. Hoping there is another opportunity to travel to this property again some day! Thanks, Joe, for everything!

Wonderful Family Vacation
Our extended family of 12 had a wonderful week at Lake Twenty-Seven. The house was perfect for my daughters and their families. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need to prepare meals (including an outdoor grill). The bedrooms are roomy and comfortable with access to their own bathrooms. The pool table and ping pong table come in handy on that one day of rain. The views of the lake are beautiful. The use of their canoes, paddle boards, and kayaks were appreciated by all of the grandkids. In short, this beautiful property on a relaxing lake made our annual family trip a fantastic one!

A weekend to Remember!
We had an incridble stay at this location. A group of 11 guys comfortably slept at this location with the amazing lake view right out the window. After enjoying a long day at the office (golf course) we got to relax on the lake which was so calm it was like glass for most of the duration of our stay. The owner was great at communicating with us the entire stay if we had any questions and it was a very easy check in and check out process. I would highly recommend this location to any freidns or family heading our to this area. We loved having access to a few paddle boards and kayaks. A couple guys had a cold one in the middle of the lake and it was very relaxing. We were also greeted by Loone songs at night and in the moring which just added to the ambiance of being out in the woods. I personally had a great time and would love to visit again. Thanks!

We stayed in earlyMay. Beautiful home. Beautiful setting. Beautiful view of Lake 27. This home is a one of a kind delight. It has everything one could ever ask for in an up north rental. First class kitchen with all the bells and whistles. An open concept so “the cook” feels a part of the group. Comfortable furnishings. Communication with the owners was seemless. Lake house is ideally situated near Gaylord. Lake 27 is an amazing lake with lots of charm. House had everything we needed inside and outside. Clean house with well appointed kitchen and comfortable beds. Terrific view from deck and patio + fire pit, kayaks, paddleboards to enjoy the lake. Would definitely stay here again.

Place was clean and very nice. Kids had a GREAT time playing in basement when we were not in lake. My fault, I misread what to bring and had to buy beach towels, but purchased what we needed at Walmart. It was great that stores were close.

We planned a birthday get away with golf at 3 different courses in Gaylord. The house and the location was perfect! Was perfect size for 4 adult couples, the outside setting and the bar were great for entertaining while we were at the house. The kitchen was equipped with nice dishes as well.
