Publié le 3 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur family went to see our uncle and aunt who live in Scottsville on short holiday. It was such a great location and we are farm family from Virginia so we felt so at home. Things we close and easy to navigate. Thanks hope to do it again soon.

Great time in Western NY
Publié le 21 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful stay at Leg Up Stables. Everything was just how it was described. The cottage was clean and had all the items we needed. Entering and contact with the owner was smooth and easy.
It was the perfect location for us to visit Letchworth State Park and an hour-and-a-half trip to Watkins Glen.

Beautiful location, private cozy cottage
Publié le 19 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayCozy cottage within a large horse farm. Surrounding area of gently rolling hills and pristine farms. Directions and contactless access were flawless. Cottage as depicted. Bedroom was very clean. Wonderfully easy access for senior dog, and we greatly enjoyed the wide expanse of yard and places to walk. So enjoyable to view all the horses on the property! Host was responsive and provided a detailed guide and some fresh vegetables to enjoy. I imagine this cottage would especially be a dream place to stay for someone with a horse in tow! We just would have appreciated window coverings - blinds or shades - to block views from the outside at night. There were people coming and going at night, accessing barns. All-in-all, a delightful stay!

PERFECT!
Publié le 30 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayMyself along with 2 friends chose this place because it was dog friendly with plans of hiking at Letchworth State Park. The cottage was absolutely perfect and everything it said it would be. It was clean and had everthing we needed for an amazing trip. The fact that it is on a horse farm made it even better. There was so much land for walking the dogs and they loved the horses as well. It was great waking up and looking at horses out of your bedroom window and seeing these majestic beings
We took advantage of the opportunity to take a lesson and ride. What an experience! I cant say enough good things about this place. Thank you Alexandria and Kim for making this a truly blessed trip.

Perfect weekend getaway
Publié le 23 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe traveled up from SC for my daughter's college graduation. This was a perfect little piece of heaven. We didn't want to stay in the hustle and bustle of Rochester but didn't want to be too far away. The travel to RIT was straight up the highway. Access to the highway, grocery, town, and things to do was perfect for us. We were blessed to have arrived only a week after one of the horses had her sweet sweet baby. The kids loved exploring the farm. Management was amazing! They took time out of their busy schedule to give us on a tour of the farm. Even in the rain! We got to pet horses and interact with the foal. We didn't feel like we bothered anyone coming and going as we did. We were even blessed to witness the Northern Lights over the farm. We hope to stay again when we can stay longer.

Quiet and Quaint
Publié le 12 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe Painted Pony Cottage was conveniently located near Letchworth State Park and a short drive to Canandaigua Lake and Conesus Lake so it was easy to explore the area. Leg Up Stables is a beautiful property, and we enjoyed our time there. Loved all the horses!
