Publié le 12 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayI have stayed at Lake Erie Vista 5 times. I love all the condos I have stayed in. This condo is very spacious. There were 7 of us and there was plenty of room for all of us. The view is just as beautiful from this floor as any other. Thanks for another great experience!

Lovely place!
Publié le 19 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThis place had plenty of room for our party of 7. Very spacious and decorated so nice. Only issue was ran out of hot water after 3rd shower. Make sure you space your showers apart if you come with a big group. Everything else was top notch!

Thanks Karen--yes a 50 gallon tank in every condo and no room for expansion to a second tank or larger one. Recommendation--take your shower first!!! Appreciate you. Deb

A perfect spot to view the total eclipse!

The private beach on Lake Eirie and comfy adirondack chairs close to our ground floor condo was very convenient for viewing the eclipse. This 3 bedroom, three bath condo gave each couple their own space and the open concept kitchen/ living room allowed for shared meals at the large kitchen table, lively game nights and comfortable final four basketball viewing. Also, the sunrise and sunsets were stunning! Remember to bring your own games and all food items you might need for cooking.

Nice place, but needs some maintenance
Publié le 4 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy family has been coming to Lake Erie Vista for years and we absolutely love Geneva-on-the-Lake. This is a nice unit with great beach/lake access, but my main complaint is that there were a number of maintenance issues that needed to be addressed, particularly given the cost per night. The property manager (Debbie) was great in helping and responding to messages in a timely manner. But there were some obvious issues that the property owner should have remedied. For example, when we arrived, two of the toilet seats were broken, some closet doors were off their tracks and not easily repairable, we couldn't get two of the burners on the stove to turn on (frustrating when cooking Easter dinner), there was sand in one of the bathtubs (that bathroom hadn't been adequately cleaned), two of the lights wouldn't turn on, the screen door to the patio was significantly torn, and lights in the main bathroom frequently flickered. Debbie and her team were able to get a new toilet seat for one of the bathrooms and did their best to address the closet door issue, but ultimately many of these issues were things for the property owner to remedy. It just seemed that the owners hadn't done a proper walk-through recently, since these were obvious repair issues that we noticed pretty quickly. We'll definitely come back to Lake Erie Vista, but we will likely explore other units.

Kyle--thank you for taking the time to do this extensive review. And yes, other units may be better for you. As for your numerous concerns--mostly, in my opinion--minor and no reason for an uncomfortable visit. Two bifold closet doors that wouldn't close all the way? They both stayed open less than 1". They have been put back on the track. One toilet seat only needed tightened. The other was not broken and it was the seat lid not the seat--it had a 2" crack that DID NOT go all the way through and it was only on the top of the seat and would have caused concern ONLY if you sat on top of the toilet seat . It was immediately replaced per your call. The stove was replaced by the owners. Guests there immediately after you whose only concern was that there were no food items and kid games. No lights flickered when I checked the unit after you. Sand in a tub is unacceptable and the screen door has been replaced yet again. If only guests would learn NOT to push on the screen itself when exiting to the patio. Some units have completely removed their patio screens because of constant replacement (a $55 cost). I appreciate your acknowledgement of my attention to all of your emails--I did my best.
