Been to Georgetown many times but first time at this property. I don't drink but the Roit beer sida was great.
I will be back and with friends.
So relaxing 😌

We enjoyed a quiet night in a lovely house! We were just a block from the river which was very nice and right in the middle of the beautiful historic district. So thankful we found this place and do plan to return, but not on a Sunday as most of the businesses and museums were closed.

Georgetown is a small town USA and Front Street has a few stores and shops that are open on Sunday, but for the most part, Sunday is a little bit more laid back. Being laid back, does make for a great day, for porch sipping our beer made directly on property. We hope to see you back again soon at Baxter's Brewhouse Inn. Cheers, Joseph

Very nice B &B room and common area. Three rooms share bathroom. This was a surprise to us, as it was not spelled out in the listing.

Lloyd, Thank you so much for choosing to stay with us at Baxter's Brewhouse Inn. Thank you for saying that we had a nice room and common area. Our European Style Setup consists of three bedrooms that share two bathrooms in the upstairs portion of our historic 1908 house. I did review Travelocity and it does state very clearly under bathroom, under room amenities, shared bathroom. Please make sure to review unique properties like ours, with a little more attention to detail, to not be surprised in the future.Cheers, Joseph

Best B&B in Georgetown

Love, love, love this inn. The location is perfect for visiting historic Georgetown, just a couple short blocks to great restaurants, shopping, and waterfront. It’s an historic home—three rooms, coffee and breakfast on the go-but it’s also a Brewhouse! Yes, you really can drink free delicious microbrews at any time, brewed in house by Joseph.
The hosts, Joseph and Tina, were so gracious and hospitable. Little touches throughout made our stay perfect—plug extenders in the rooms, a nicer hair dryer than I use at home, sitting areas with TV, lovely porch to watch the evening come on, even bug spray and sunscreen if you forget you’re in coastal South Carolina in the spring. They checked in with us on our trip to recommend places to visit and dine, places they actually go, which were awesome.
We were as comfortable there as if we were staying with family, the ones you like 😉 We’re already planning to return!

Can't beat a Home Brewery and Inn
Publié le 11 mai 2024 sur HotelsHost greets you with some home brewed beer and some fine socializing before escorting you to your room. The upstairs cosists of 3 separate rentable bedrooms that lock. 2 shared bathrooms and a public shared gathering area. Aside from unlimited tap beer, there was a non alcoholic root beer on tap. And a fridge in the public area stocked with bottled water, Gatorade and fruit punch. A comfortable front porch to sip your beer on. And one block walking distance to everything the waterfront part of Georgetown has to offer. Most plesent stay.

The house was beautiful and fixed up nicely. The owners were so welcoming and friendly. Perfect location with a short walk to downtown but still in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by historic houses.
