Publié le 28 sept. 2024 sur HotelsNice hotel recommended as we were visiting friends close by and we understood it had been recently renovated. Nice decor, comfy bed and lovely breakfast.
The only slight comment I would have is the pub area was so hot, all the radiators were on full blast even though the weather was still mild in September. Also it seemed strange as a pub hotel it didnt have a residents license so had to stop serving by 11. Perhaps thats just a local quirk and certainly wasnt a big issue was just a bit strange arriving back from cinema at 1050pm to be told the bar was closed.
All in all though a lovely stay and would stay there again.

What great value! My wife & I were in GX for a party and the Ethorpe exceeded any expectations.The room was excellent, and we had a very tasty breakfast of Eggs Benedict.
