Great location to restaurants a d attractions!
Publié le 27 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayLovely historic building located near restaurants, Boutiques and Gettysburg Battlefield. I enjoyed offee each morning on the screened in porch. Ba k steps are steep but the front entrance has a lovely staircase. Beds were comfortable. Smart TV so we were able to log into Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Great location but poor experience
Publié le 19 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayOur check-in was a disaster. For some reason our confirmation email had the address of a different property. We wandered around in the dark for thirty minutes before I finally realized that the address in the app was different. In that process I sent three separate messages to the owners and received no reply whatsoever. The error may not have been their fault but to fail to respond at all (not even the following day) was not ok.
The location is excellent. Very convenient with easy parking. Extremely steep stairs up to the property from the parking lot. The screen porch was very dirty and one of the screens is halfway ripped off.
There’s no way it sleeps 6. 5 max if someone sleeps on the sofa. The main bed is a full, not a queen. It has some kind of waterproof covering on the mattress so that it crinkles when you lie on it, plus the fitted sheet constantly comes off. Pillows are flat and uncomfortable.
There’s also zero privacy. The doors from the living room and between the bedrooms are glass paned, plus the tiny bunk bed room can only get to the rest of the unit through the main bedroom.
The bathroom ceiling has a bunch of holes in it.
There’s a lot of street noise, but even worse, anyone from another unit in the hallway sounds like they’re standing in your room.
I would not stay here again.
