College visit.
Publié le 4 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were in Gettysburg to watch our granddaughter play volleyball at the college. Location was great. I thought we would hear a lot of road noise but it was very quiet. Places to eat with in walking distance
Clean and comfortable!
Hosts were very accommodating. Games started at 3 and We were able to check in early.so we didn’t have to rush.
All and all it was a good place to stay.

Historic apartment in the heart of Gettysburg

It's an old historic home so it doesn't have all the modern conveniences but it is very comfortable, clean, and has many stores and eateries right outside your door. You can easily walk around town and sightsee. The host was very responsive to our needs. We had a good time and will be back.

Historic Baltimore Street!

The house was very comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. There is plenty of off-street parking too. Will definitely stay again!

We have already booked this rental for next year and are looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend this rental to anyone coming to Gettysburg for a vacation.

Downtown Gettysburg

Short drive to the civil war visitors center and the national Park. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable. The owner was helpful in giving suggestions for area attractions.

Publié le 14 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayWonderful place to stay in the heart of Gettysburg. Walk to the many restaurants in the town, step out the back door and there’s Cemetery Ridge and Culp’s Hill. Rod is the perfect host, and the historic house contains everything that could be needed.

A wonderful Anniversary weekend getaway!!!!
Publié le 22 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayI took my husband of 14 wonderful years to see Gettysburg. He is an avid lover of history so I wanted to take him to a place that was ripe with. The apartment was lovely and in its own right a part of the history. The surrounding area was a dream of history and beauty, loss and victory. We were there for 2 days and didn’t see everything. We are both looking forward to going again. And will gladly stay here again.
