Wonderful historical home
Publié le 20 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe greatly enjoyed our stay at your lovely home. Location is perfect, it was very clean, well kept and we enjoyed looking at all of the antiques especially the special chair upstairs. I highly recommend this home for your stay in beautiful, historical Gettysburg

Fabulous Find in Gettysburg
Publié le 18 août 2024 sur HomeAwayStayed 5 days in August. House is charming, very clean, comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, too. I don’t think we could have found a better location- grocery store across street, walking distance to Square and many restaurants, and very, very close to Battlefield, too. The 4 of us had a wonderful stay! We appreciated the library of books, games,and on-site laundry, too. Tried several of the restaurant recommendations and didn’t have a bad meal. We greatly appreciated all the comfort and convenience our host provided and we highly recommend Gettysburg Retreat. Thank you, Sandee!

Gettysburg getaway

The kitchen was fully stocked and the selection of videos and games surpassed anything I had ever seen. This is one of the best homes we have ever stayed in! Highly recommend!

Gettysburg Retreat is a Gem
Publié le 6 août 2024 sur HomeAwayStaying at the Gettysburg Retreat was a perfect fit for our group, (four couples). The house has four bedrooms and two bathrooms and a great kitchen! There was plenty of space for everyone. Everyone's favorite spot was the big kitchen table where we gathered for meals and planning our activities. Our host was terrific and made our stay easy. She was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. With four couples, I had requested additional keys so each couple could come and go easily if they wanted to venture out on their own. The location of the house made walking to uptown attractions easy. There is even a grocery store next door to the house (which came in handy). The Gettysburg Retreat is a gem and would highly recommend it.

Sandee was an excellent host and provided us with all the information we needed. The property itself was perfect and very accessible to not only restaurants, the battle fields, and center square in town, but it is even right across the street from a grocery store. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this spot again! Thanks Sandee & Pat.

Gettysburg Music
Publié le 8 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayAfter an afternoon of playing bluegrass music at the circle, we all met back to the house to cool down, have lunch and relax. This is a great house. Very comfortable with great A/C! Fully equipped kitchen. Just get food and drinks at Kennie's Market conveniently across the street.
