Publié le 4 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwaythis property is everything and MORE. absolutely stunning property. the location couldn’t be any better for all things Gettysburg. The only issue we had was the front door is exceptionally old and difficult to lock. we are planning on coming back and staying again in Spring. love love love would not recommend for small kids as some of the furniture is antique.

Publié le 9 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was exciting to stay at the Stahle house! We enjoyed the beauty of the home and it was immaculately clean. We had no issues or surprises. The only thing is that the listing showed there was a pull out bed and sleeps 6, which ended up only being 2 beds and slept 4. Some of our family had to stay elsewhere, but it was big enough to enjoy a family dinner together. We really enjoyed our time in the home

Great Centrally Located Home

We were able to have additional family rent out the upstairs unit so we essentially had the whole home to ourselves. The house was within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful time walking around exploring the area. We’d love to book again and highly recommend this rental.

The location was great, could easily walk to the shops and restaurants. Loved sitting on the back deck and relaxing both in the morning before a hectic day and again in the evening . Will definately stay there again!

Perfect Location
Publié le 17 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was original to the Civil War and was decorated as such. There was plenty of space for just my husband and myself although there was another bedroom. I think it would have gotten dicey with 4 people sharing one bathroom but would have made it work. Great location right in the heart of Gettysburg. Had fun walking around town if not too exhausted after exploring the battlefields all day. Tessa was very responsive when I could not find the blender, she ran one right over 20 minutes later. Very comfortable in the house. Overall, great experience and would recommend to others.
