Great Place
Publié le 23 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayPerfect location. Right on circle. House was clean and ready for us at check-in. Newly renovated bathroom upstairs. As mentioned on property details, there are only 2 parking spots. We had 3 cars, so had to use parking garage across the street. It's not an inconvenience though. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Stay!
Publié le 19 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe Laverne House never disappoints! This was our third time staying here, and it is just as wonderful as the first time. Everything is clean and comfortable, the owners are very nice and easy to get in touch with, there are so many things to do within walking distance, and they added a Keurig since the last time we stayed! When we end up back on Gettysburg, we will definitely try to stay here again!

Worth Renting
Publié le 28 août 2024 sur HomeAwayAll and all, good place and great location. Everything’s close, and the unassuming Chinese place next door was surprisingly very good. Only recommendation would be a jet pump so there’s more water pressure in master shower. And improve quality of tv/cable provider. Good idea for only 1 tv in living room, signal interruptions, not ideal.

Fantastic and historic stay, incredible location
Publié le 6 août 2024 sur HomeAwayStayed with friends at The LaVerne. The location is second-to-none. It was easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The rooms were well appointed and the guest house had everything we needed. Don't think twice about renting this place!

Charming, clean and comfortable.

When we walked in we all said "Wow" this is so, so nice - the place is beautifully painted with some cool and interesting decorating accents. Beds were clean and comfortable - air conditioning excellent as it was super hot. All in all a great place and definitely would come back again.

What a location!!
Publié le 5 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved the house and location!! Only a couple of small suggestions; 1) is to have name plates on both front and back doors. A little confusing when we first arrived. 2) a small table or counter top to place toiletries and hooks to hang towels.
But otherwise it was an excellent place to stay. Convenient parking and right downtown! We wouldn’t hesitate to tell others or book again on next visit.
