We got there early, we were checking in on a Sunday when many people are leaving but I got there earlier then the check in time and was told that because my room was ready they would allow me to check in and waived the early check in fee for us. They are pet friendly and allowed us to bring our small dog for the cost of $30 which wasn’t bad. We got a really good deal on Expedia for the room and for an extra $13 we both got to eat breakfast which would have cost $45 and the food was very fresh and delicious. There are also lots of stores and some restaurants nearby but no place you can walk to other then a large movie theater which we did not go to. And it’s about a 10 min drive into the heart of Gettysburg.

I enjoyed my stay. Staff was helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay here again. However dining at the hotel was not a pleasant experience. Waitstaff was MIA. The staff didn’t check in on my table. Food came out cold. It was not busy. There were only 3 tables of guests.

Very nice first-class luxury hotel with comfortable beds and super clean facility. I could have done without the portrait of Jefferson Davis in the elevator lobby, though.

The grandeur of the property was unexpected for that price range. We were pleasantly surprised with how clean, well decorated, spacious, and welcoming the lobby area was.
It was jolting to find, however, that the showers are only half a door. Every shower flooded the entire room, and with only two large towels provided, it was hard to clean up the water spill from the showers that are completely unavoidable!
Other than that, it was a great facility with amazing staff.
