Very unpleasant experience!

I booked a full room using Hotels.com website as the shared rooms were no longer available, and the room is advertised to have 4 beds for family setting. i paid the total amount of 132 Euros for the room and when i arrived onsite, i was given a bed in a shared room with other people that acording to the person who gave me the keys costs 29 Euros per bed. She asked me to cancel the booking online which is not refundable and to pay 29 Euros in cash. She could only speak spanish and after several trials in commmunicating and using google translate she understood that my room is paid online so she gave me the keys. I contacted the host to ask about the amount i paid and the return was that i booked on hotels.com site and i should have booked on HostelWorld site. He said that since i paid, i agreed to the payment conditions and that they will not refund any money. I contacted Hotels.com and they contacted the host, again he refused to reimburse claiming that the room i booked is the room is was given. I fail to understand that as i paid way more than the price of a bed in a shared room. The room state overall is not that bad, although there is an upper bed with no easy stairs or climb to reach. there is one bathroom and one toilet shared with 2 other rooms (mixed) so 12 total people sharing same bathroom and toilet. If one signs up for this, it is not that bad as a hostel experience, but the communication and the customer service are terrible.
