Relaxing Luxury
Publié le 27 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful stay at Willow Island. The cabin is beautifully decorated and spacious. All needs are anticipated from coffee machine to thick beach towels to soft beds. All we had to bring were swimsuits and food. We loved the outdoor seating, fire pit, sandy beach and ability to launch kayaks from the house. We were busy every day with kayaking, walking, games and exploring the town. Thank you for a wonderful summer getaway. We will definitely return.

Wonderful Beach Experience

The beach was expansive and sandy, perfect for swimming, building sandcastles and kayaking. Everything we were hoping for. We are already thinking about returning next summer.

Perfect Lake Getaway!
Publié le 15 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe spent a week at the cabin and had a fabulous time. The cabin has everything you need and is spacious and clean. Having a doshwasher was a nice touch in a cabin, not always easy to find and saved time in the evenings not having to stand at the sink and clean up. The real star for us was the outdoor space. There is a large back lawn, great for lawn games, bonfires, or just lounging around. Stairs lead down to the beach. We travelled with our 18 month old who had tons of room to roam and play safely. The beach is a bit rocky so consider bringing water shoes. Town of gimli is only 5 minutes away and made for great outings to the pier or to get lunch or ice cream. Heidi and Jason were very easy to communicate with throughout our stay.

Our hosts were ever so kind, reliable and great with communication. All you need to worry about is bringing your own food and personal items, otherwise everything is taken care of.
We will definitely be looking forward to another stay in the future. Thank you so much, for such an amazing stay!
