Nestled between private vacant land near the beach and seasonal snowbird neighbors on the seawall side of the property. Neighborhood is very family friendly, no surprise to see people walking, riding bikes and catching up with one another. Plenty of parking with two driveways, one connected to the main home where you can park 4 vehicles. Second driveway connected to the garage where you can park 5 vehicles. Overflow parking on the street or across the street. Many off road ATV and golf carts drive around for easier commuting.

Great location for groups
Overall, the stay was great. The views were stunning and the property was beautiful. Our group enjoyed fishing, swimming, fires and kayaking, plus relaxing on the wrap around deck. The house is great for big groups, although the beds are not as accommodating as per the listing. Note for future guests- bring extra paper towels, garbage bags and a dish sponge or cloth for dishes as there was not enough provided. Also it’s a bit of a drive into town & shops were closed before 4pm on a Saturday. Host was not great at communicating. We weren’t able to make coffee as the.coffee maker was broken, hopefully there will be a new one for the next guests.

Fantastic get away in gladwin
This was an incredible property to stay at we had a fantastic time. Host was incredibly accommodating. Loved the property, had fun using the various amenities. The beds were fantastic and the 14 of us appreciated getting our own comfortable beds. We especially liked the outdoor TV lounge area, large kitchen, and bonfire pit. Highly recommend golfing at lakeside golf course, it is incredible bang for the buck. Heads up for others renting, any late night partying on the property is scrutinized by the neighbors, so you may want to skip this property if that's in the plans

Perfect Property
Every year 16-20 friends get together every year for a long weekend and have been staying at various rentals over the years. This has been our favorite by far, and is the perfect combo of enough space, great lake front and amenities. The host was awesome, and did everything right to make sure we had a great stay. We will be coming back.

The perfect family getaway
This house and lake were perfect for our long, overdue family gathering. The children loved the beach, teens enjoyed kayaking and sunbathing, and elders took advantage of the quiet early morning views from the deck. The chairlift was immensely helpful to our grandmother. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook all our meals, and we were blown away by the little things like an available packnplay for our 2 year old, kid drink cups and toys/tent, supplies for Smores and popcorn, coffee pods, etc. It made our stay feel so comfortable. We also chose to rent a pontoon to explore the lake further and fished off the docks. Carrie was an excellent host! It was very easy to get a hold of her, and she had great advice for all of our needs.

Our host Carrie went above & beyond in exceeding our expectations! Her attention to details made us feel at home immediately. The Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, pots, pans, spices of every type to prepare a meal, coffee and pods to start the day, and let’s not forget her candy stash that the kids loved, bathrooms were well stocked, beds were comfortable. The patio furniture was plenty and prefect! This is the most beautiful place to create wonderful family memories and sets the standard of what true hospitality in all homes should be!!! Fantastic Lake House
This house had everything we needed for a fabulous family vacation. The host was great with communicating. The beach and sand were perfect for the little ones to make sand castles. We loved the fire pit in the evenings. Could ask for a better setting.

Beautiful property
Our stay at the lake house was great. We rented for a bachelorette party. The place was spacious, beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. We had bad weather, but there was plenty of space for the 16 of us to be protected from the rain on the porches and inside. If I had to say one critique we ended up having to run to the store to buy more garbage bags and paper towels because we were not supplied enough.

Great Gladwin Getaway
This was an awesome place to stay in Gladwin, right on the water of Lake Lancer. We plan an ice fishing trip each year with work colleges and this is one of the best layouts we have seen for sleeping 13 people, hanging out in the common area and playing games in the dinner room, proximity to the water, and close to a few more lakes in the area that are good for fishing, there is also a trailhead about 20 min to the west that leads up to Houghton Lake area. The owner was awesome at communicating and letting us check in and out with a text message. We would love to return to this location in the future.

Summer Paradise
We had a lovely 6 night stay with our family of 14! The kids thought the bunk house was the coolest thing ever! And the adults truly enjoyed the beauty of the house, views and relaxation it offered. There was so much for us to do….it was a little paradise! From kayaking and paddle boarding, tubing and jet skiing, private beach and sand toys, fire pit and chairs overlooking the lake - it was truly a slice of heaven. The hosts have the house completely stocked…they really make you feel at home. My entire family highly recommends this listing - it’s truly wonderful! The kids are already asking when we are going back!

Bachelorette bash for the books!
Our stay was amazing. The host was so welcoming to us as we used their home. She was so easy to work with and communicate with. The home is amazing!!! Such a beautiful place! Lakefront Home on Lake Lancer
Amazing place on a beautiful lake. The home was beautiful with lots of amenities provided to make our stay comfortable. Easily slept 16 people. Lake Lancer is absolutely stunning and the views were definitely worth it. There was plenty to do at the home and on the lake (kayak, paddle board, campfires, hot tub, and more), and we also played golf at some nice courses nearby. Communication with the property manager/owner was top notch and the check-in and check-out process was seamless.

Wonderful stay!
Host is very helpful and communicates throughout the entire process. House is marvelous and well appointed. We had absolutely everything we needed, or could have wanted. Our family hasn't been together in one group in YEARS, we enjoyed the stay so very much! Cleaning crew left out gift bags and stickers for our youngsters so thoughtful. I very much recommend this rental for families!

Perfect Stay
This trip was a short and sweet work retreat with 15 adults women and men. We came in on a Sunday morning and left on a Tuesday morning. Carrie communicated very well before out trip with all the instructions for check-in and our stay. Everything in the house was clean and very well labeled. The check-in/guest book was very informational as well. Even with our very large group, we had an adequate amount of sleeping space (the bunk house was very awesome). We fished the lake and caught more than enough pike and even one large walleye. We just had a huge bonfire and enjoyed the beautiful view and outdoor experience all day long. Cannot say enough good things about the house and Carrie. Would for sure recommend the place to anyone else.

Great experience for groups!
I came with a large group of 18 college seniors for a retreat, and we had a blast at Carrie's home! The kitchen was well stocked, there were enough towels/beds for everyone, and so many activities. I cannot say enough good things about this house, can't wait to come back in the summer!
