Great Family Thanksgiving Stay!
Publié le 29 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy family and I stayed here for thanksgiving! The house is great and the perfect log cabin! We have 11 people and a couple of dogs and there was room and bedrooms for everyone which worked out perfectly!
The property is awesome and will be staying here again soon!

Overall a great stay in a beautiful home.
Publié le 22 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayNonstick cookware was scratched up. Lots of cooking utensils provided. Corn kernals found in one bed, pinecones found in another. Plenty of towels provided, but could use more wash cloths. Night stand in master bedroom unstable. Liggts are dim, could use more/brighter lighting.
Directions to home via Google Maps are about 1/2 mile off.
Overall a beautiful home. Host very responsive to messages.

Annual family vacation

Family Getaway
Publié le 12 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were a group of 12 (10 adults and two kids under 3) and fit comfortably at the property. Everything was as advertised in the property description except for the water access since the stars down to river were roped off. We'd stay again!

Good for large group
Publié le 1 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property is large and equipped ok however the cleanliness was not great. We found a joint and numerous other pieces of trash around the basement rec room. The carpeting is in serious need of cleaning. It did not seem to have even been vacuumed. The property was advertised as being accessible to the river but the stairs leading there were closed off with caution tape, a fact that should have been communicated to us ahead of time. The basement was freezing but the upstairs was very warm making it hard to sleep. The layout is a little difficult for a large group for taking showers as one of the 2 full baths is ensuite in the primary bedroom on the main floor so it was only usable to the couple staying in that bedroom. There needs to be another shower in the basement, as it only has a 1/2 bath but has 3 of the beds down there. There was no guest book for recommendations and advice. The property worked well as far as sleeping arrangements for a large group for a local wedding. The hot tub was nice but found joints laying around it as well. The "smoking room" needs to have all the cushions cleaned. Do not use Google maps to find the property, street numbers are not in numerical order and it will take you the wrong way on the road. The private drive is difficult to see in the dark.
