We really liked the Sandyford. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. However, we were on the third floor and there was no lift and I have a very bad back so it was hard to get there every day.
Breakfast was good, except that the chef doesn't know how to cook an egg. I tried a poached egg and it was hard boiled, and I tried a fried egg and it wasn't runny at all. The kippers were too salty, too. Potato scones were chewy. But the sausages and mushrooms were great!
Overall, I would stay there again. It's right next to Kelvingrove Park, which is an amazing spot, and it's easy to get everywhere. Thanks, Sandyford!
