Leelanau stay for two

Great Stay
Posted Sep. 15, 2024 on HomeAwayOverall this was a great stay, and a good alternative to renting the very pricy rooms at the homestead. Check in was easy, instructions from the owner covered everything we needed and the location and cleanliness were excellent as well.

Condo at Homestead Fiddlers Pond
Posted Sep. 15, 2024 on HomeAwayFantastic place - welcoming, clean and at beautiful Homestead Resort. Has all home amenities and is close to shops and restaurants. My daughter from New York stayed here while I stayed at a nearby pet friendly location and she was very pleased. Both of us highly recommend!

Good, but needed some attention
Posted Aug. 27, 2024 on HomeAwayIt was a nice property. We did not have any liquid or bar soap and there was a boil advisory for the water (which couldn't be helped.)
We went through all the towels that were provided.
Homestead is a beautiful resort.

Colleen, We are so sorry about not having any bar soap set out in the shower along with the shampoo and conditioner. We are sure that it was an overlook when the villa was cleaned. There is however, additional soaps, shampoos and conditioner in the top drawer of the vanity in the shower area. There is also a dispenser of liquid soap in dispensers at both sinks.
Nonetheless, we are glad that you got to experience the lovely area and hope that you had a pleasant, restful time.

Great location
Posted Aug. 5, 2024 on HomeAwayGreat location, hiking trails were great and Pyramid Point is a must see! Tourist location so getting reservations can be challenging, but there are several great places worth the wait.

stay at the Homestead
Posted Jul. 24, 2024 on HomeAwayThe property was clean and neat. We liked that there were 2 sinks available in the bathroom in different areas.
The kitchen was adequately supplied for our needs.
The only restaurant open was outdoor seating at Whiskers.There was music playing from Whiskers until 10 pm which you could easily hear from the rental.
You have access to the beach at the Homestead, but can not park near the beach. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach on paved trails.
The host has left very detailed, helpful info about the condo and the area, however, it would be good if it was organized by topic.
It is a very convenient location to Glen Arbor, Sleeping Bear, Leland, etc. Overall a very pleasant place to stay.
