This charming cottage features two bedrooms, one with a King bed and the other with a Queen bed, along with one bathroom and a loft with a twin bed. Nestled in a wooded area, it offers private access to the Crystal River and can accommodate up to five people. In the fall or winter, enjoy a cozy evening by the fireplace with a good book and a glass of wine.

The deck outside is perfect for quiet dining and relaxation, offering a lovely view of the woods. Meals can be grilled and the evening can be spent gathered around the fire pit. Additionally, guests can canoe or relax in the Adirondack chairs beside the Crystal River across the street.

Glen Arbor, located just 0.2 miles from the house, offers convenient amenities such as a grocery store, gift shops, and restaurants. The Sleeping Bear Dunes Dune Climb, Glen Haven, and Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive are all a short drive away.

Well-behaved pets are welcome, with a maximum of two allowed. Please clean up after your pet!

Our stay was fine and location is great. Cabin overall could use updating and repairs. It wasn't the cleanest, linens overall seem like they were not washed recently.

Good location, no canoe though
Location was within walking distance to downtown and could drive to a lot of places within 40min. We were disappointed that the canoe was locked to a tree and when we messaged the people, they too did not know where the key was and didnt offer to help fins it.

Most perfect cabin
Absolutely loved our stay! Perfect walking distance from downtown glen arbor but just far enough outside to be secluded. Crystal River was gorgeous and so clean. Cabin was clean and lots of space. Cant wait to stay again!

Cute Little Cottage in Great Location
We stayed in this cottage with our pug and had a great time. We had all of the necessities and the location was so close to everything in Glen Arbor. The only negatives were that the cottage could have been a little cleaner and it is on a busy road, with the river across the street (which we knew from the listing). There was still part of bar of soap on the windowsill in the shower and there was mildew on the window as well. The cottage is also a little tired looking and could use some updating. The king bed was very comfortable and we loved the circular driveway. Overall, it was a nice stay and we were really thankful we could bring our dog with us.

Close, simple, accommodating
We finished a week’s worth of vacation from up near Marquette by enjoying 2 days near the Dunes. We enjoyed what we could in Traverse City and Glenn Arbor with the time restraints were had and in-climate weather. The vacation home had all the necessary amenities to make our visit enjoyable. The best part was being able to bring our pets.

Nice long weekend with the dog. Just what we were looking for in a quick weekend getaway. Walked to everything downtown. Watched deer and woodpeckers out back while doing a puzzle. Visited 3 beaches. Loved that there is a king sized bed.

Great Location in the Heart of Glen Arbor
Great cabin within walking distance to Lake Michigan and downtown Glen Arbor. River-side fire pit was also as-advertised and a nice space. The rental management company requires some excess paperwork, but they were responsive to all of our communications.

Nice location. The loft was pretty much inaccessible.due to the steepness of stairs. Weather could have been better. Can you work on that for next year? :-) Paperwork was too much for renting 5 days and not really intuitive.

Holiday Get Away
We were looking for a quiet cabin experience for the new year. Absolutely enjoyed this trip, especially the proximity to Glen Arbor. We took walks daily into town and enjoyed riverside campfires. Property was as described. My only complaint is the internet. For the most part you could only use the internet if you were right next to router/modem, which is in the master. We were hoping to be able to stream football over the playoff weekend, and were unable to despite troubleshooting steps.

From the pictures this seemed to be a secluded retreat, in reality it is on a very busy road with the stream (which looked to be in the back yard) across the busy road. The living room furniture was uncomfortable and the power GFCI kept tripping when you use the oven (they wear out). The TV was subpar with poor cable choices. No TV's in the master.

Fully stocked cabint in a perfect location with private river and swing!
We had a wonderful time at the cabin! The cabin was really big and fully stocked! It had grill with propane, even wood to use for the firepit! Cabin had towels, cooking pots and enything you would need for your stay! We walked everywhere! Its convinintly located close to all the stores and rental places (bile rental and kayak rental). We loved using private area by the river where our dog enjoyed swimming! We will be back!!

Lovely spot!
We have been vacationing in Glen Arbor for 15 years - this cottage was new to us because our usual place was booked. We had a great week and enjoyed the private river sitting area. It’s right along M22 so it’s busy if you have little kids or a dog. Definitely be careful. The huge garage was great for storing our bikes and we loved the kayaks and canoes. Our only wish was a clothesline to dry our swimming gear, and a tea kettle. Thanks so much!

Quaint pet friendly lodging
We had a peaceful stay at Foxwood in Glen Arbor. Close to many choices of nature to explore. Loved being greeted by a couple of deer upon returning from a day of exploring and having a campfire one evening was peaceful and calming. We didn’t need the second bedroom so simple closed the door to keep the dog out. We did bring some old sheets to cover the couch, bed and chair to prevent leaving behind too much dog hair. This place is completely equipped for for all we needed, and then some. One tiny comment, the bathtub floor was a bit slippery as we’re an older couple over the age of 65 years…we were just cautious when getting in and out, the grab bar was nice to have. Hope to stay here again in the near future. The gas fireplace was extra cozy as the time we spent was here the temps were chilly and that made it so inviting in the evening.
