Publié le 2 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house and accommodations were very good, the only problem was the driveway, covered with ice and snow with no means to clean it. I went to hardware in Glen Arbor and bought $50 worth of snow melt product and used used it all. It was very unsafe, took three tries to get up drive way, slid back almost into the road way. Fortunately no one fell. If this home stays as a winter rental, owner or VACASA needs to have a driveway cleaning contract in place.

Attitude Adjustment
Publié le 5 août 2024 sur HomeAwayLove the name of this property. It is lovely, and as described. There is a lovely office area for anyone who needs to work. The beds were comfortable and I really loved the sitting room off to the side of the house where we watched a lot of the Olympics in the evenings. We loved it and hope to stay again. This is not a negative but something I wish I had known better when booking because we traveled with two older people with mobility issues. The house is on a steep grade and there are a lot of stairs. My elderly parents struggled a bit getting suitcases into the house. Just something to consider if you are traveling along and have mobility concerns.

We were pleased to find that the property, its furnishings, and its cleanliness matched the images provided online. Another great feature was the private access to the dock and fire pit just across the road from the property. Additionally, we found the property management company conveniently located nearby and they were very accommodating for our late check-in. We highly recommend this property and will definitely consider staying here again in the future. Many thanks to the owner!

Late summer stay
Publié le 31 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had two elderly grandparents (getting upstairs to main level a little challenging for one of them), three adult children and my husband and me. We had tons of space and privacy and the layout was perfect. Enjoyed the bonfire (plenty of seating and picnic table) by the water. Had it been warmer we would have enjoyed swimming too. Gorgeous blue moon and lake views. Wish it were my own house! Bring seasonings and laundry stuff. No supplies except paper towels. Consider bringing our own coffee maker if you are picky.
