This is a very nice Mansion but it's need some renovations. The carpets are old and the walls needs a little freshen up with new coat of paint. Some floor ceramic tiles need to be replaced.

Very nice hotel, quiet place and good location. Rooms are large and well equiped. A very good place for a week end. But it looks like the hotel is on work (carton boxes on the lounge). The very bad point is the breakfast. There are many nice lounges and rooms but you have to take your breakfast in a terrible room, nowhere to seat, and very poor quality (to be honest it looks like a breakfast served in a Motel 8 with plastic plates and cups). Really a pity in this very nice mansion.

The hotel was desolate and under construction. The pool and hot tub were closed by the health inspector according to the woman at the front desk. The room was cold and unwelcoming as if they didn’t expect guests. The floors were cold laminate wood with no rugs. The staff at the front desk were two young boys that could not answer questions. No manager was available. Smelled like paint. They should remain closed during renovations. Terrible experience.

Property is being renovated and it is needed. It may be very lovely in time. There was a 16th birthday party and kids were screaming down our hall from midnight till one when we called front desk. They did take care of the issue quickly.

I grew up in Glen Cove and this property has always been an iconic place where I wanted to stay! It’s now my 3rd time! Everything from the front desk employees ,the bellhops, waitstaff staff, to the chamber maids were exceptional! I’ll be back in August!!

Loved this place completely. Spent honeymoon night here and cant wait to come back and experience this hotel again.
