Although only one bedroom, this place offers a spacious 800 sq. feet of living space on one story. Even with a King sized bed, the large bedroom features a closet and a convenient built in washer/dryer with room to spare! South facing windows allow a view from every room (except bathroom) to capitalize on all the natural sunlight and lake/mountain views. Enjoy a private bathroom with a shower/tub combo, vanity, and toilet. Further down the hall a full sized kitchen with maple cabinets opens to the living room. Kitchen includes a microwave, refrigerator, oven, and dishwasher. Plenty of cupboard space for groceries and supplies. To access the apartment, enter through a nice custom wood entry ideal for hanging gear and with enough floor space for extra guests. Schooner Lake is a host to an abundant source of wildlife including migrating birds (swans, ducks, loons, eagles, etc.) and the occasional moose, bear, coyote, fox, muskrat, beaver, and caribou. Enjoy direct access to this lake for canoeing, swimming, frog catching, bird/wildlife watching, cross country skiing, and snow-machining among other things . Also, if your adventurous, a short hike around the lake provides a spectacular view overlooking the Nelchina River from on top of the bluff
