I like that the hotel was conveniently along our travel route. We were pleased to be able to check in early. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient. It was unfortunate that the one elevator was out of order and we had to take the only available room on the ground floor. Although we were relieved not to have to climb stairs, the room was clean but appeared run down and outdated. The complimentary breakfast was a great way to start our day of travel.

We were put in room 219, which from the moment we walked in the room, it smelt of an overwhelming musty cigarette smell. We called to have the room switched because it was so strong and they said there were no other rooms available. We stuck it out our first night and was only in the room to sleep. The room was also not prepared and was missing towels, tissues, alarm clock, hair dryer etc. (Probably because they avoid putting people in there due to the smell!) The second night they moved us to room 214 by the elevator. This room had the amenities listed but did not have any and I mean any trashcans - weird. The tv remote control was also broken and we could not turn the volume up or down or turn the tv off without unplugging it. The only positive thing I can say about our stay is that the food was good, and the gentleman who checked us in whose name I believe was Will was very friendly and tried to do his best to empathize with the inconveniences we experienced.

Clean establishment although broken down. Was disappointed to learn so many things did not work like ice machine, pancake maker, jacuzzi

The first room we were assigned had a nasty smell, no tv service and there was a dead bug in the toilet. We were immediately moved next door and the room was clean, no odor, comfortable beds and good water pressure in the shower. Construction near property results in a less than appealing PPO presence of the property. Not quite what you would expect for the Holiday Inn brand
