Stayed 2 nights, room was clean and was a good size with king bed which was very comfortable. Ensuite was also of a good size with bath and over bath shower. Nice touch to have a fridge and microwave in the room. We opted not to have breakfast as we prefer to eat later. Great to have private on site parking. Service was unobtrusive 1st morning there was a basket left outside every room with fresh towels and tea, coffee supplies. Staff dont enter the room unless requested to do so. The hotel is well placed for visiting Gloucester City Centre it is about 10 - 15 minute walk into the centre all flat. Will stay here again as we visit regularly to see friends, would definitely recommend the Edward Hotel.

Whilst it was a budget property it had a nice comfortable bed, hot shower and very good breakfast at a reasonable price, close to and within walking distance to gloucester

Bit of a weird one. Room was average, bathroom tiny and damp. Had a smell all the time. Owners were a bit strange and not that friendly Location wasn't great and walk into town was longer than I had imagined plus pass through a rough area which I wouldn't have wanted to walk alone. Wouldn't stay again

A lovely, quiet hotel,well situated to walk into Gloucester, the hosts were friendly and knowledgeable about the area and places to visit. Clean room and bathroom, all through the hotel was clean. Breakfast was good, we will definitely stay here again.
