The property had just been taken over, I am sure she will make it really good given time. It's an old building but in reasonable condition

Decent pub - rooms very average
Publié le 22 nov. 2023 sur Hotelstired rooms - strange odour in the hotel part of the building. I had a piece of sharp metal on the floor which found my foot in the night. left on the table as there were no overnight staff etc.
I don't think the pub does any food as there was no mention of breakfast. There is a great Cafe opposite though ( Concorde) for an old school fry up
great pub though - very busy and a rare wet focused pub
loads of room and a decent beer garden/outdoor area which i'm sure gets very busy
booked this after inputting hotels near to the Guild hall -which this is not ! ( not fault of the hotel though)

Great location but very dated and not great value
Publié le 15 oct. 2023 sur HotelsGreat location and room was reasonably clean. Room very dated and smelled slightly. No housekeeping (room wasn't cleaned during stay). Sink in kitchen drained very slowly and toilet had very weak flush. Wasn't great value for the price

The property was good for an overnight stay We had a friendly welcome and the pub had a great atmosphere. The rooms were clean and tidy but could do with a little TLC
