Quiet cabin in the woods
Publié le 2 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is a great place to stay for peace and quiet. It is located conveniently for hiking excursions. A nice hot tub to relax in, and well off the beaten path. But if you are looking to be close to Leavenworth or other populated areas, this is doable, but about an hour + away. The only downside is the common area for sitting together as a family to watch a movie is upstairs and doubles as the second sleeping area. There’s plenty of outdoor covered seating options to make up for it though. And unplugging for the weekend is not necessarily a downside for us. We all enjoyed the covered porch hot tub, and fire table. Thanks for a great pre-back to school weekend.

I am sorry. I have to give this property a one star review because we just could NOT get warm. The lighter by the fireplace had no fluid in it so we had to light the BBQ to get some flame. Also... the hot tub temp would not adjust any higher than 99° no matter how many times I messed with the settings.
The power went out!! It was single digit temp and the power went out, NO EXTRA BLANKETS, just a million pillows. We were absolutely miserable. Also... the water was shut off too. I wouldnt recommend this property to anyone during the cold season.

Publié le 10 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy husband and I spent the Christmas holiday (five days) here. It was our second stay at the cabin, and we are already looking forward to returning. The cabin is very clean, pretty, and well-equipped. The kitchen (including huge outdoor grill) is great; the bed is very comfortable; the covered deck and hot tub have gorgeous mountain views and are beautifully lit at night. We enjoyed fires both indoors and outdoors. The adjacent property is home to a menagerie of chickens, ducks, sheep and an alpaca (!) and we were welcomed to visit at will (one of the highlights of the trip!). The breathtaking Canyon Falls and Sunset Falls on the Skykomish River are within easy walking distance. The neighborhood is quiet and private. Just can't say enough good things. We stayed here during Thanksgiving 2021 and really enjoyed it. During the intervening two years, quite a few improvements were made to the property, showing that the owners really want their guests to have a first-class experience. What a great couple's getaway!

Very relaxing
Publié le 30 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThe location is very relaxing. The jacuzzi was heaven. The bathroom was super small and tight to maneuver. The shower floor is way too slippery. Please upgrade. Seriously. Overall. Great place.

Thanks for your feedback! However, this is essentially a tiny home at 560sf and we fully remodeled the bathroom (and kitchen and dining area) less than a year ago. We'll look into providing a slip mat for future guests :)

Cozy Mountain Getaway

It was just what we needed to relax and recharge after a very hectic and stressful couple of months. The only thing I would change is to warn people that the water tastes/smells metallic due to it being well water. It's completely safe to drink and shower in, but I was caught a little off guard. Otherwise, the place was amazing!

Cute & cozy getaway

Publié le 29 juin 2021 sur HomeAwayWe loved our stay at the Marigold House. It was a record-breaking heatwave during our visit, so we didn't get to spend as much time in the beautiful hot tub as we would have liked, but the house was clean and comfortable. We can't wait to come back!
