Beautiful Cabin

First let me say Nicole was an amazing host to communicate with. 10/10 recommend just based off her interaction. The property was huge! I spent a large portion of my time on the deck facing the view of the river and the mountains. I wish I could record the sound of the flowing river because it was the most calming sound I’ve ever heard. The beds were extremely comfortable. Most places I’ve stayed at I’ve been missing my own bed but I can guarantee you will sleep like you’re on a cloud. We saw giant rainbows right in front of the mountains and although it was rainy most of the time, the sun still peaked out and it was absolutely gorgeous. Kitchen was stocked with everything you could need to make meals for a group. I will absolutely be back. Thank you SO much for this wonderful stay

Big Bend
Publié le 20 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat except that the WHOLE Gold Bar area is Rapant with Norovirus which is from the WATER. Should have been HEAVILY PUBLICIZED THERE. My husband and I have been EXTREMELY ILL from the water ther.

To all prospective guests considering our home – rest assured, there is no issue with our water. It is perfectly clean and healthy to consume. (This claim is false and unfounded.) Our water is supplied from a private community well that is constantly monitored and tested for purity. In our 14 years of owning the property, we have NEVER had an issue with waterborne illness or quality. To further assure, know that we had other guest groups staying in the days immediately before and after this guest’s reservation, none of whom experienced water issues/illness. This is in addition to zero issues and/or reports of illness in our entire community, who all share the same water supply. It seems these guests may have experienced food poisoning or some type of miscellaneous illness unrelated to our property, which is unfortunate, and we wish them swift recovery. As for our water, we can confidently attest that it is continuously monitored/tested for purity and remains 100% safe to consume. We welcome you to come and enjoy a wonderful stay!

Beautiful lodge on the river!
Publié le 15 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is a great place to stay along the river. Clean, organized and attention to every detail. Kitchen very well equipped. Just bring luggage and food! Comfortable and one of the few rentals with 3 BR’s.
Fantastic view of river and mountains. Close to Index. Check out The Bush House in Index. A quaint little Inn with a restaurant.

Family Vacation
Publié le 22 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay in Nicole's home. Check-in process was easy and the home was well-stocked and clean. Lots of activities to do in the home itself. We were able to walk down to the river but it does require some scrambling over the rocks to get there. Not a lot to do in the area itself (neighbourhood is pretty isolated) but if you can drive, there are lots of trails to explore within a 10-20 min drive. Overall, a pleasant family vacation!

Flute retreat in paradise

Our manager, Nicole, was the most attentive manager I've ever worked with at a vacation rental.

Amazing View

Great area downstairs for young children to play. Back deck was great to allow us to relax and take in the view.

Perfect Pacific NW getaway

The location is close to many amazing local hikes in Gold Bar and Index and is close enough to Stevens Pass. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Getaway

The house was stunning and had so many friendly, welcoming touches! We were three families and we spent the weekend with the adults playing DnD and the kids hanging out playing games and watching movies. It was perfect!
