A friend recommended this property re: cleanliness etc. and she was right. It turns out there is no longer a restaurant and bar on property. There is one across the street yet only does breakfast on weekends.

Calling this place a resort is quite a stretch. The property is more on the level with Motel 6, however, there are some very good points. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and had a nice view of the river. The pool was nicely heated, not like a lot of motel pools that are a bit too cold for us. There was no alarm clock in the room. There were no towels in the pool area. But overall, when looked at as a budget motel, it's a solid 10 for value.

We were so pleasantly surprised with how nice Jots was! Rooms are newly renovated, staff is very kind, bed was super comfy with all white linen and a gorgeous view of the river from our room. We ate at the restauraunt right across the street and had some of the kindest service of our life. Would come back here in a second!

This gem is in the perfect spot! This is my second stay and it is ideal with dogs. There’s so much to do outdoors in the immediate area and the sunrise and sunsets heal the soul. This is the perfect low key place that is clean, quiet and relaxing. I will be coming back again.

the first room i was assigned had a beeping smoke alarm. the second room was hot with the heat turned low and no way to turn it off. too tired to ask for another room, i slept with the balcony door open.

Our experience staying at Jot’s was mostly enjoyable. We were on the first floor and there must have been a room full of children playing musical chairs up on the second floor. Other than that our stay was enjoyable.
