Views were great, beds comfy, walk to beach convenient. Only issue for us old folks was taking things up and down the spiral staircase.

Nice place for a quiet getaway.

We enjoyed the access to the beach. Quiet neighborhood except side roadwork going on. Place is comfortable. Be prepared to use stairs for main floor. Great view of the beach. Close to Gold Beach Bookstore and sightseeing. The only disappointments were uncleaned areas (table lazy susan, some dishes and silverware, window freezer bottom), and blinds were hard to use and delicate.

Views of the ocean would be better if the windows were cleaned. Otherwise, great location and great home.

Quirky with amazing views

Great location, and amazing views. The decor is eclectic but comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. On the bad side, the fridge was broken and there was an ant infestation. Owners tried to get in early to replace fridge as we were packing up at 930am. We were rushed out by the owners who were not polite about it.

Uncomfortable house

Several issues with the house and dealing with them was a total waste of time. The beach was great.

Nice location

I overall enjoyed the location and home. It served our families needs well. The only detractor was a background smell in the first story bedroom.

Location! Needs some work...

The location was terrific! The beach was less than s block away! The sunsets, clamming, just fun! Gold Beach is such a short drive! Easy access to 101 and so much exploring to do! The house itself, had a few issues, nothing major. Beds are comfy, kitchen VERY well stocked. Downstairs shower missing a knob. Leak under kitchen sink: the bucket under the sink let me know they already knew about the problem. Probably should have been disclosed before. There are a lot of ants... didn't see them on the counters, only floors. Again, they know as there are multiple ant traps throughout the home. Yes the windows are dirty, it's hard water stains. There are things they could try, but with such a short walk to the beach, come on people, get some steps in!

Disappointing Property

As soon as we opened the front door we were hit with a damp and moldy smell. It was very overwhelming and unhealthy to sleep in the downstairs bedroom. As a result of not being able to use the downstairs, we were all forced to use the upstairs for living and sleeping. Therefore, we were unable to use half of the property that I had paid for. It was very uncomfortable trying to sleep three adults in the remaining space. I had contacted Vacasa several times and got no satisfaction behind oh we’re so sorry and you must feel terrible. As a result my Family left three days early and I left one day early due to this disappointment. I really hope that someone from the Cousin management will Contact me.
