Originally booked room with jetted tub. They called beforehand And let me know jets not working . So they upgraded us to a room with ocean view. It worked out nicely for us but missed the tub
The shower did not function as it should, nor did the bath stopper allow water to fill the tub. Called the front main desk at 5:58am and left a message. That said, the wash cloths were awesome!
So, we stayed at this place called Surestay by Best Western on the 15th of November. The check-in was a breeze, and this really friendly guy (I can't remember his name, sorry) helped us out.
The room was amazing! It had a view of the ocean and a balcony. We only stayed for one night, though.
The only thing that was not the best was breakfast. There were no muffins, no granola, and they didn't even have a full lineup of coffee options, like decaf.
But other than that, I'd definitely stay there again, just without the breakfast.
Not our lucky night. We checked in, went up to the room and the keys didn’t work. Went back to the front desk for new keys. Was informed the key code machine has been acting up. The NICEST front desk guy, Sunny ran with me with his master key. Denied access. He had no other balcony rooms available, so we waited 45+ minutes for the Maintenance guy to take the door lock apart and repair the issue. The front desk guy really wanted to remedy the situation. He tried so hard, we tipped him a $20. This morning, I asked the front desk gal if they could reduce the rate to reflect the delay. We had been on the road all da, were tired and it really was an unfortunate situation. She said she couldn’t do anything since we booked through Hotels.com. In my opinion, this is a crappy response.
