My husband and I were in Australia for our honeymoon in Aug 2024. Staff went above and beyond to honor us, and we really appreciated the incredible customer service and friendliness. The light rail and beach were in walking distance. The grounds are stunning, and I’d come back to this resort without question if we return to Gold Coast one day.

Had some issues with housekeeping- room wasnt cleaned for 2 days and we needed fresh towels and our rubbish collected so we complained to the manager (we were there for a week) but the problem was resolved right away and we were compensated for our trouble.

The staff at the JW Marriot went above and beyond.
The ocean view room also over looked the pool area, it was so good sitting on the balcony.
Breakfast buffet was full on, it had everything you would ever want.

It’s The destination! Don’t think any other GC hotel would compare. It’s a resort. The pools!!!!!! Buffet breakfast fabulous, no help yourself coffee machine and not paid for coffee (from machine from staff) awful. Only accom I’ve had where I didn’t leave the resort didn’t want to was like we were in Bali but better as you can bathe children with tap water etc. they could upgrade pillows to recent trends ( firmer and smaller) but that’s nit picking.
