8 people stay

Publié le 13 oct. 2024 sur HomeAway
I don’t think the photos do this property justice. We had 8 people staying (2 families) and we had plenty of room for all of us. Both inside and outside were easy to relax in. We did all the touristy things - theme parks, mountains, wildlife parks etc and the house was perfectly positioned for a home base. There was plenty of room for all of us to have space from each other during the two week stay. I would only want some minor changes

Ideal for the extended family

Publié le 12 oct. 2024 sur HomeAway
This house was ideal for us and our extended family (7 adults and 4 children (ages 7, 5. 5. 2). Plenty of room, lovely swimming pool plus a very good spa pool. Correspondence with the manger was easy with everything on time and as promised. Highly recommended.

Hello Kylie, it’s good to hear you loved the house. In hindsight I should have queried you more about your husband’s disability. I assumed that you saw in the advertising photos the few steps and had deemed them okay. You mentioned that your husband was a double leg amputee, and I had after viewing the ability of amputees in the Paralympics, thought it would be okay. I know you did not like the steps, but these steps enhance the places design and architecture. I hope that this did not impact to much on your stay. Fortunately, your adult children were there to assist. Thank you for staying. Regards Andrew. To the reader or anyone in their group with mobility limitations, who is considering staying, please note that on our advertising, it does not state there is wheelchair accessibility/ramps, and consider there are four paver steps in a row, from the garage and courtyard garden to the front door, one step in the passageway, one step to the bunk bedroom and one of the queen bedrooms and one step from the living room to the kitchen before making a booking.

Review

We were happy with the property and the space it provided our large family. The kitchen had all you would need if you were needing to cook, we mostly ate out or ordered in though. Location to Robina Town Centre was appreciated by our young adult children.

Home away from home

Great base for exploring all the Gold Coast has to offer! Plenty of space for our group of 12 (9 adults, 3 children) in a quiet suburb. The beds were super comfy, the kitchen was well equipped with crockery & appliances, the pool, spa & pool table kept us entertained each night. Proximity to the shops was a bonus too. Would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous property for our family get together.Excellent proximity to shops theme parks and beaches. As we were travelling with 2 toddlers who loved the cubby house, I’d like to suggest maybe having some plastic wear in the cubby for them to play with also maybe some kids games, balls etc We took our own games however for people who are travelling by plane/ train this would be difficult. Also for those not travelling by car the inclusion of towels for the pool would be highly beneficial. The billiard/pool table was a real hit with our family . Overall a fantastic property that I will certainly be recommending to others and hopefully will get the chance to visit again .

Hello Margo, it is good to hear you thought the proximity of the house to the shops, theme parks and beaches was excellent and that you thought the property was fabulous. Some playing cards and board games have been put into the drawers beside the pool table for guests use. Plastic toys for infants and toddlers, no other guests have commented on this, it appears families are happy to bring a few of their child’s own favorite toys. There are plastic plates, bowls and cups provided in the kitchen for small children and porta cots and a highchair to which we left out for your use. All bed linen and bath towels are provided and are professionally cleaned by a laundromat. Providing an additional pile of beach towels for the swimming pool would only add to the cost of the stay, so its best guests bring their own favorite personalized beach towel, and if flying in it only adds a few hundred grams to the luggage allowance. Furthermore, I’d prefer not to have the houses towels brought along to places such as the water theme parks, beaches, the rivers and picnic outings. Guests are welcome to take some of the other things provided on outings, such as the infant stroller, eskies and portable folding chairs, which are in the hobby shed beside the barbecue. You expressed an interest in returning, your most welcome come for another holiday. Regards Andrew.
