Pour : La plage superbe qui se trouve dans le prolongement de l'hotel. Le spa et la petite piscine sont tres bien aussi. L'appartement est tres spacieux .
Contre : La wifi est en acces limite. Il serait bon qu'elle soit en acces illimite. Il serait egalement bon que les lits soient faits tous les jours également
Emplacement : L'hôtel se trouve dans lville de Palm Beach qui est a 15 kilometres de Surfers Paradise. Il est également a 15 minutes de l'aeroport de Gold Coast.
J'ai passe 10 jours a l'hôtel REGENCY ON THE BEACH. C'est un hotel relativement bien place puisqu'il est a 15 kilometres de Surfers Paradise.

We stayed here last year and the unit was spacious with cooking facilities and washing facilities. This year the unit (at a similar price point) was very small with none of these things and a bar fridge rather than a full size one. We were very disappointed.

Run down rooms
Publié le 11 avr. 2024 sur HotelsRun down room - the washing machine was broken, door handle on the bathroom hanging off, mould on balcony, broken kitchen cupboards. We managed to change rooms but in the room we changed to the air con wasn't working and a kitchen cupboard was also broken (but the washing machine worked, hence the decision to move). Overall, the beach is beautiful and some rooms have great views, but the rooms are really run down and furnishing is very basic.

Besides the location- this property is old and tired- it was raining and I was stuck inside- couldn’t get out fast enough

The room was very small and basic. The kitchen lacked in items to use. The shower wasn’t cleaned properly, there was gum stuck on the wall with other people’s hair. Couldn’t get live tv, had to use our own account on Netflix, and the tv was very small. Half of the patio had water continuously dripping on it from the higher units drain pipes. The only thing we liked about the place was how close it was to the beach, unfortunately we will not stay here again.

Great beach, poor hotel

As a few other reviews have mentioned, the only upside to this hotel is the view but you are also directly opposite other people's houses in some rooms. The interior is in desperate need of not only a really good clean, but also an upgrade. The outside chairs were broken, the door and window fixtures had almost disintegrated and the room did not feel clean at all. I would not recommend staying here.

Nobody in the reception when we checked in at 2:30 pm. The reception hours is between 9-3. The apartment is riddled by cokcroahes in the kitchen. The smoke alarm has no batteries. Exposed wiring next to the aircon.
