Bien insonorisé, pas de bruit d’avions mais un peu de bruit de tuyauterie

Mer à 10mn à pied. Magnifique piscine et restaurants au rdc et dernier étage avec belle terrasse donnant directement sur les mouvements du tarmac de l'aéroport international de Gold coast. Le coeur de la station de Coolangata avec ses nombreux commerces et restaurants peut être atteint en moins de 30mn à pieds par un chemin côtier très agréable. Excellent rapport qualité prix malgré l'absence du front de mer et de terrasses individuelles au niveau des chambres de par l'insonorisation aéroportuaire.

Bon emplacement, propre et personnel courtois. Bon restaurant au rez-de-chaussée. Chambre manque de commodités (pas de bouteille d’eau ou autre, pas de prise pour brancher le téléphone cellulaire à côté du lit). Dans l’ensemble ce fut idéal pour une nuit avant de prendre un vol!

Great stay had fun. Rooms are a bit squishy but pool location buffet and beach make up or it all. PS you can't get air con below 21 degrees

Publié le 22 sept. 2024 sur HotelsPerfect for an early morning flight the next day, was amazing as an airport hotel. Literally, you wake up and walk across 20m to the airport. Beat all that traffic to get to airport. Quiet, ultra clean and modern. 5 min to beautiful beach. Nice rooftop bar with food. Comfy beds. Not sure how far to other dinner options as we didnt have time to explore. Bonus- got free breakfast packs to go/eat in room as checked out before the buffet breakfast opened at 6am. Will definitely stay again.

I stayed two nights in an Executive (Concourse) Room. Overall I enjoyed my stay at Rydges Gold Coast Airport. First the positives...The first night I was on the 6th floor which had a fantastic view. They had even noticed my brother had a separate booking for the first night and had our rooms close to each other which was lovely. The view, food and drinks from the Salty Fox Rooftop Bar were wonderful. Breakfast being included was great, standard hotel breakfast food with lots of choices. Being a short walk to the airport was really good and made departing stress-free. Also not far to walk to the beach and along it to Kirra. Now to the negative...Unfortunately the first room on 6th floor had an awful smell to it, the kind of smell you get when drains dry up. After being in the room overnight I thought the smell had dissipated but on returning from breakfast I realised it hadnt. Went and had a chat to the front desk and was immediately moved to a new, non smelly room on the 4th floor. I was reminded that the desk is 24/7 but I explained I thought it had got better. I do suspect someone was aware of the smell as there was an auto air freshener in the room that wasn't in my next room or my brothers. Hope they've found the cause and solved the problem as the view was great, could see the hinterland and the ocean! The view wasnt quite as good on the lower 4th floor but was happy it didn't smell so would rather that! I would still recommend staying at the hotel and would stay again.

Rydges was perfect.
Excellent location - only a few steps to the airport and buses
Fantastic friendly staff - knowledgeable and helpful with bus and train information
The room was lovely and the breakfast was a bonus
