Minimal airport noise
Posted Jan. 23, 2018 on ExpediaGreat location - just over the road from the beach. Short walk to surf life saving club for dinner. Quite location, perfect for relaxing. Pool is nice and refreshing - and up to 1.6m deep. About 30-45 minutes drive to Surfers and theme parks.

Neat, quiet apartments on the beachfront

Pros: Small, quiet apartment complex, spacious and tidy rooms, great beachfront location.
Location: Bilinga has very little, in order to find lunch and dinner we had to go further afield to Tugun, Kirra and Coolangatta.
We stayed for 3 nights in late September. Apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped, with a great view of the beach. Painless checkin and checkout. About a 30 minute walk either north to Tugun or south to Coolangatta for meals; there's also a regular bus service. Despite the proximity of the airport, we didn't find plane noise to be an issue.

Pros: Location. Generously sized three bedroom apartment.
Cons: No dishwasher or clothes dryer. DVD hidden in a cupboard. Hard to find fan switches etc. Instruction folder would be helpful.Needs refurbishing.
Washing machine flooded on last night.

Pros: Large balcony looking at the beach, then a 1 minute walk to surf swim

Fronts a cycle/walking path 5 min walk to Nth Kirra Surf Club - excellent meals, friendly staff. 30 min stroll along waterfront to Coolangatta Hotel/
