If I had pick a slight negative I’d say if large pool was also heated but we loved our time there

The staff are so friendly and helpful. It was great to have access to on-site secure parking. Our room was quiet with a great view of the ocean. The concierge staff go out of their way to assist with any problems. Will definitely stay here again.

After attempting to arrange a different date due to my daughter being critical ill and needing emergency surgery. The reservations team Emline refused all attempts to negotiate with the Expedia, despite a manafwr approving a refund under the circumstances. Certainly no humab in this service. Shame.

Disappointed as Sofitels are usually 5-star hotels but this one is tired looking and needs refurbishment. Our room wasn't clean (hair on shower floor and dirt marks on cupboard doors, mirror and wall). If we were staying more than 2 nights, we would have complained and asked for another room. The location in Broadbeach is excellent (close to everything) and my saving grace was a Starbucks opposite the hotel as there was no coffee machine in the room! All in all, we were disappointed and will not stay there again.

Great location, friendly staff, clean
Could do with an update of bathrooms for aesthetics but they are cleaner than some new hotels I’ve been to!

Ideal Location and walking distance to good restaurants

Surprised to be charged $25 a day to park. Not informed until leaving. I have never been charged for parking at a hotel before. Steps to lifts in carpark was also unsatisfactory
