Cathy and Bruce are great hosts with excellent breakfast both mornings we were there. Enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and fire pit. About 20 minutes from Golden but fantastic log home and very quiet location. Highly recommend.

Fairytale Mountain Chalet
Publié le 12 sept. 2021 sur HomeAwayI cannot write enough good things about Golden Acres. Everything was way better than expected. It was beautiful, clean and so many amenities! So many thoughtful and touching details.
Cathy is an AMAZING chef. The breakfast were the best I’ve ever had. My husband and I are obsessed with this place. WE WILL BE BACK.
Go. Just book it. You won’t regret it.

Cathy and Bruce are wonderful hosts, and everything they provide made for a great getaway in the mountains. Lots of personal touches and small details to make your stay fantastic and memorable.

The jacuzzi and sauna in the middle of winter was fantastic.

Getaway in the woods
Publié le 23 août 2019 sur HomeAwayThis place was a great home base for us to explore Banff and Jasper parks. It’s about an hour drive from the park entrances, but it’s a lovely drive.
Bruce and Cathy were very accommodating and professional. Their space is beautiful and the breakfasts were simply delicious.

Das Zimmer war wunderschön. Das Haus ist auch sehr ruhig und mitten im Wald gelegen trotzdem ist man schnell in der Stadt (Golden). Das Frühstück wird mit sehr viel Liebe gekocht und ist wahrscheinlich das beste in ganz Kanada!
